Towards the end of May, RIM and Globe Telecom announced that the BlackBerry Curve 9320 and 9220 will become available on the network around mid-June. That time came and RIM and Globe Telecom kicked it off with a Media Launch party attended by stars, media and bloggers alike.

The budget handset has become a favourite for most in Asia especially for its low cost. It's an entry level BlackBerry smartphone but is packed with the latest OS 7.1, FM Radio, not forgetting the dedicated BBM key. James gave us his thoughts on using the device after one week and it was a BlackBerry device he could recommend anyone wanting to make the move to the BlackBerry platform or for those who are budget concious.

For more information and to purchase the Curve 9220 or 9320 from Globe Telecom
