I understand this is an entry-level consumer phone, but why the hell is it still with Rev. 0? I thought it was supposed to have 3G? No new blackberry should be anything but 3G. Bad move Verizon/RIMM.
it does have 3G
I just might leave my Storm 9530 behind for this one
Why you leave the Storm for the Curve 8530 vs. the Tour?
mostly the trackball. I think this new trackpad on my curve is sick! If i didn't already upgrade to the s2, I would pick this baby up.
the device is 3g worthy. Played with one yesterday. Shows 3g symbol in the upper right hand corner, and it's not there for looks.
everytime i see new blackberrys come out i think about how Tour owners got screwed. look at the trackpad compared to the trackball, it's ridiculous. and the USB slot is on the left instead of the right, unlike the tour. when vzw gets the tour 2 every tour 1 owner should raise hell.
The spec's on vzw say
Dual–band 800/1900 MHz CDMA/EV–DO Rev 0 networks
That's not 3G.
Is the site wrong? Am i misunderstanding something?
Rev O is a type of 3G. Rev A is just a faster form of 3G.
