Do metro customers get push email? Sounds cheep but for 10$ more a month you can get unlimited everything except landline minutes with Sprint.

and you forgot add tax on the bill. Too bad MetroPCS service sucks in NYC.

I know, but my post was because he said that for $10 more on sprint there is anymobile any time. He forgot to mention for that it includes tax on sprint on top of $10.

Damn....that is a very interesting price point.

It has push email, but Corporate Email is $10 more, and the signal is 1X... so the wi-fi does help not to suck that phone, like their 8330m.

Doesn't metropcs have evdo?

But they only have EVDO in the DFW and Detroit markets, they stopped efforts on their EVDO network so tey can concentrate on their LTE infrastructure.

Virgin Mobile has cheaper Blackberry plans. $35/month gets you 300 minutes with unlimited everything else on a Blackberry 8530 and $50/month gets you 1200 minutes with unlimited everything else. I think Virgin Mobile operates on the Sprint network.

With Metro you get unlimited minutes on top of everything else. It's unlimited EVERYTHING for $60 a month flat, add $10 for unlimited international and it's the best deal out there.

It sucks that those carriers all operate under CDMA, where's the love for GSM devices? There's a new carrier called Simple Mobile that is supposed to offer similar deals for SIM card using phones, however they do not yet fully support BlackBerry services. I'm just waiting for them to do so and switch from T-Mobile, I wonder if the 3G service will be reliable.

+1
Still wonder what happened to T-Mobile's Complete (see http://crackberry.com/t-mobile-complete-offers-contract-free-blackberry-...) Blackberry prepaid plan. They said it was in Best Buy, etc. but I have yet to see it. Get that into more locations and T-Mo would be a winner. Imagine if you could take any BB you fully owned and at that $60 price point.

Steer clear of MetroPCS. Their prices are fair, but their coverage and digital service sucks. I would regularly lose my EVDO service even in areas with five bars.

Where do you live that this happens in?

Can't wait 'til we Canadians start getting decent prices for our BB plans. Can't get anything lower than $70 for what I need, and that's nowhere near unlimited for data or daytime talk.

I had the 8330 from Metro. I hated how slow it was. Not sure what the deal is with the 8530 but it's very nimble. It's so much quicker on the web.

The things that made me feel 2nd class with the 8330 are fixed. YouTube works. All the streaming apps work. It's an awesome phone. WiFi, Metro Navigator, even the bigger louder speaker, everything I wished I had on the 8330. It's a great deal for the price. I'm not ashamed of this Metro phone!

I was running the same web activities on the 8330 and the 8530 like my weather radar that use to take forever. The 8530 was running circles around the 8330, I love this phone!
