Vodafone has yet to even release the BlackBerry Curve 8520, or for that matter, acknowledge it even will be. Of course we do know it's coming but having the OS show up on the Vodafone DE website is just a little weird, though I guess stranger things have happened. Could this mean that Vodafone is gonna be launching soon? As in the next few days soon --or is it just that they made a boo boo in posting the OS? That has never happened before right?
In any event if you are so lucky to have an 8520 in your hands right now, you may wanna check the OS and see if this is an upgraded version that you may want to install. As for the rest of us, just we'll just have to sit back and wait knowing that when the device goes live on carriers (T-Mo on August 5th is first in line), we'll have an OS handy as well.

That was a pretty funny pic, gotta love leet speak.

It's that speak from those lol-cats pictures.
One of the cats will be on your table and it'll say "I can has meal?" Which is some version of Can I Have 'whatever' is going on.
So, the BlackBerry is the cat asking for an upgraded OS, since it just came out, like the cat asking for food since it's on the table.

I like the curve's keyboard better than the tour. It's slimmer than the tour, and I prefer the rubberized feel. The camera and screen resolution don't kill it for me - but if this thing has a slow cpu that could kill it for me. I wonder if the 8530 will be rev 0 or a?

Really...2mm makes that big of a difference? The Tour has a rubberized back.
Not sure if you have seen a Tour's screen compared to a 320x240 Curve's. It's like black and white vs color.

Oooo! Where are you located?
thenashy Aug 2, 2009 at 3:35 am
They did this in Asia/Pacific with the Bold. The software was there about a month before the device.
