Word on the street is that the Curve 8520 is available from AT&T starting today. While there hasn't been an official announcement, we've had loads of tips from members saying they've managed to get their hands on one. As you can see from the image above, the Curve 8520 is available for premier accounts to purchase on the web, but hasn't made an appearance for regular customers just yet. Again, nothing set in stone, but the wheels are in motion. Hopefully we'll get something official in the next day or two.

BlackBerry Curve 8520 Available from AT&T Today?

The Bold 9700 is 449.99 no-commitment price? Who in their right mind would get this over the Bold. The Curve 8900 is No Commitment Pricing $349.99. I'm confused!

$499 no commitment price? You're better off buying the T-Mobile version for $299, unlocking it for $10 and now you got a BB 8520 with no commitment for almost $200 less.

We have it on our shelves here in Idaho and are selling them. Att is going to lower the price tomorrow to 150 with a 100 MIR. Dont know why on the display it shows an ATT Nav icon as this phone does not have gps. but its a good starter bb for college kids etc. and the processor is as fast as the bold, just not 3G.

I tweeted on 11/22 that this would be out Dec 7th in At&t corp stores. I saw a spread in the At&t stores so that should hold up ;)

My store has them on order and they should be here in a few days. I believe we will have them for $149.99 with a $100 rebate and an additional $50 rebate that runs from now until 12/25/09 making them FREE in the southeast region. We are supposed to have new pricing come out tomorrow to confirm that 100%.

Huh? Something not right here,I stopped by my local At&t store today to check out the new bold(9700) and ended up checking the curve(8520) out too. The manager was stocking it up on the shelves, although this isn't what want, but still good to browse.I noticed it was $50 cheaper than the 9700 under the 2 year renewal contract, can't remember what the price was for the no commitment price. This device isn't bad, while it is slower than the 9700,this curve doesn't even run with At&ts' 3G,why is this? I'm getting tired of seeing good devices go to Verizon. P.S. , I was told that price of blackberrys' for at&t will be dropping this month, including the 9700.

TMobile have been selling this phone for 300 since day one out right. Here they come selling it for 499 they must be crazy. I love the phone till the 9700 came out but I would not oay 499 for it. No wonder I jumped ships after 13 years.

Who cares what the no-commitment price shows. The Premier site has come a long way as far as the inflated pricing goes, and nobody would pay that. You can upgrade at the subsidized price at will anyway. Just not online anymore.

Isn't getting the 8520 on a Premier account (if it's for business) totally defeating the purpose of this BB?

The 8520/30 are meant to be entry-level BBs for the casual consumer who wants BBM and email for fun.

what a ripp-off. $499.99...crazy. T-Mobile sells this phone for $349.99 with no contract. For some reason AT&T thinks that they can sell their phones (same versions) for a heftier price tag. The 9700 goes for $199.99 with a 2 year contract on T-Mobile no MIR and $449.99 with no contract and AT&T has it for $299.99 with a $100 MIR. Umm....??? Yeah,ok. This is also one of the many reasons why I'm on T-Mobile and have been for the past couple years.

This phone like $349 on the ATT website. I got mine from T-Mobile at the no-contract price of $299. Someone in their marketing department need to be shot down in cold blood. It's not even a 3G phone!! I love my Gemini, though it has no 3G. Makes me wonder who's behind all the goddamned pricing.

WTF is the point of wifi and no 3g? Its a crime that this phone doesn't have a cheaper data plan when this is so much slower than a 3g phone. Why does blackberry even make edge phones for anymore? My girlfriend is up for a new phone next month and was going to get this because she hates the buttons on the bold and loves the raised ones on her curve. What a waste of a phone.
