BlackBerry Bridge

BlackBerry Bridge has again been updated, this time to version The only major note is a fix for devices running OS 7.1. This probably isn't a sign of a BlackBerry PlayBook OS update as it has been many times in the past, but who doesn't love an update? If you're running the current version you should receive a notification to update, or you can head to BlackBerry App World to grab it now.

BlackBerry Bridge now available

Wish that it indicated OS v2.1 wa imminent, but:

Whats new in this version?

-- Fixes issue where BlackBerry Bridge is disabled after BlackBerry OS 7.1 Upgrade.

Probably only for 7.1

I have 7.0 and it's not showing for me. Based on the posting I'd assume it was only for 7.1 though

I'm on 7.1 official and it's not showing for me. Nor are the two RIM instant-messaging apps from last week still though. Do these upgrades have to be filtered through carriers??

Downloaded, probably should have waited until rroyy releases the version that works for AT&T though since I'll download that one anyway.

Update shown in the list but still when selected. Only uninstall option : Uninstalling current ... Reboot ... Listed as ... ouch #1 attempt fails (damm GPRS) ... start over ... DL (3.1 Mb) ... installing ... published over BBM ... done !
Running smooth, nothing special noticed yet.

Edit : oops: did I forgot the "thanks" ? ... yaww, my bad.

It corrects a problem that I had a couple of times on my Bold, but never complained about. Working good now.

The playbook update after a bridge update stopped like 8 months ago, we can pretty much stop with that saying now lol

Running Alt RST does refresh AppWorld (just like Menu refresh does) but not show update for Bridge to .31.
