The Bold 9900 and Torch 9860 BETTER come to at&t. I could care less about the Torch 9810.

Just curious, I think they will but if they don't would you leave blackberry or AT&T?

You said possible sooner than later, could that mean Sprint may indeed push up the Bold 9930 release before August 21st sku list date thay have?

They will release it as soon as RIM can stock their stores. If RIM can hit a July release then the back to school season isn't lost - August 21st is a catastrophe for that reason, for both parties.

Oh... come on RIM and all the Service Providers. Too many things get leaked, but the phone is still not out yet.

Perhaps Sprint is trying to scoop the competitors by using an early launch? They have decided to remove bloatware from Android phones and if they do the same with RIM, it could mean a shorter TA period. But does RIM have a stable OS to launch?

...But IMO if Sprint can't get the Bold 9930 out before the rumored Apple iphone landing on all four carriers in late August, early September will mean some doom and gloom. At&t and Verizon have had the iphone-BlackBerry choice, Sprint users have'nt, even a long time BB would at least be MORE than curious to take a iphone 5 for a 30 day money back return. I hope RIM can get the Bold 9930 sooner to appeice BB users, before they even have a chance to go to the "Dark Side" lol.

New Torch for Sprint Here's hoping. I want one so bad! And here's hoping they fix the tower where I live so the data will actually WORK. As of now my 8350i was faster on data. Yeah, Nextel, no lie. Very sad for sprint. Works everywhere else great. Of course I don't live everywhere else. (Ok guess not the right place to bitch, but it's been brewing in me and had to get that out.)

Still very excited!

The problem is not that RIM won't release these phones. It would release them. The problem is that none of these phones have made it through any carrier's certification process. Rim hopes to get them certified on one and then go to the others and say - release them, tbey are good enough for xxxxx. There must still be some big issues witgh them or else they would have been certified. This is weird because I bought Torch on release and it was nowhere near done.

I'm curious, are there any tenured Sprint reps here that can let us know if there is a pattern as to when Sprint loads device info into Cellbrite prior to the device actually being released?

I believe from a previous post a while back these names can be easily changed in CelleBrite devices so they shouldn't hold much weight. I'm not sure if thats true or not but I thought it might be worth mentioning

Not that this holds any weight of course, but I google CelleBrite and seen a leaked HTC Incredible for Verzion showing April 02, 2010, and on April 29th, Verizon officially released the Incredible. So might there be a slim possibility Sprint release's the Bold 9930 end of July?
