What a day! Loads of new BlackBerry love all around with plenty more on the way. The latest down the tip line is this shot from Telus. From the looks of it, the BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9810 and Torch 9860 should all be available for purchase on August 15th. This holds true to the leaked roadmap we've already seen and is just a few more weeks to hold out so you can have your pick of any three of these BlackBerry 7 devices. Don't fret if you're not a Telus customer - other carriers should be pushing them out around the same time, so we'll be sure to dig deep and see what else we can find out!

Dude, you beat me by like 2 seconds!

Sprint sure isn't in the August camp!

JUSTQUAN2

Quick, someone tell me which u.s. Carrier uses the same band as telus!!!

123berryaddicted

Any gsm carrier... AT&T, T-mobile, and the likes...

The new telus network is an hspa which is GSM compatible. The old network is cdma which is compatible with Verizon/sprint. Telus favors the new network in terms of new hardware. Whenever they can they choose the GSM models. So no... I am not wrong - thanks for coming out though.

You'll only get EDGE on T-Mobile

Only AT&T..

You can use any current and future Rogers, Bell or Telus BB on AT&T.

The newer GSM phones are backward compatible, so why wouldn't they work on an edge only network? I could be wrong as I don't live state side, but I do know my unlocked 9700 worked just fine on T-mobile....

123berryaddicted

With their older blackberry's yes. But any new blackberry will be gsm compatible - not cdma.

Hi @123berryaddicted,

Douglas from RIM here. We love your enthusiasm! I’ve had a chance to play around with the new BlackBerry 7 smartphones, and the first thing I noticed was the improved speed and smoother web browsing. The Bold 9900 also brings to life NFC technology, which today allows you to read SmartPoster tags and pair devices – but in the future will enable mobile payments.

We love hearing how BlackBerry users are putting their smartphones to use. After you pick up your Bold 9900, share your experiences with us on Twitter (@BlackBerry) or Facebook (http://bbry.lv/bdmrXv).

Cheers,
Douglas, RIM Social Media Team

Why do people want 3D on a phone? Stupidest thing I've ever heard.

birdman_36

How can you make that statement when you've never seen one?

feldmen01

Have fun making 3d videos of your dog then...

Rogers shouldn't be too far off eh:)

Teknojnky

I hope they will be cheaper than the prices we saw yesterday.

Friggin' saweet!!! Last I heard was like the 23rd or something for the 9860 and I was even beginning to doubt that..... So to hear they'll be available earlier is simply awesome!

*singing*... Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get married..... LOL Okay, maybe not quite that far.

Krypto

It's unknown if the Torch 9850 is coming to Verizon yet. So far they've been very quiet about it, which is unfortunate.

FreddyE

What is the rumoured price point for the 9900??

jiggaman2g

Going to sell my Torch and get that the day of...sadly you know that there wont be a line up for em.
