As the flood of device release rumors hit the airwaves, the latest of the bunch is this blurry as hell image from Rogers. From the looks of it, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 could land on Rogers as early as August 9th. If you manage to make out the last line, you can see it reads "Tentative Launch Date August 9" ... or 3 ... or 6. Fingers crossed that it's one of them at least. We can expect to know for sure after all the BB 7 Fan Night fun goes down, so you hopefully only have to hang tight for another day or so before we get some official info.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 landing on Rogers August 9th?

At least one thing is for sure, it looks to be a single digit so if the "tentative launch date" holds true, it should be between now and the 9th.

sigh still sad i didnt get the contest for the bb fannight but glad at least i can show up tomorrow for the fannight tweeting on @maiev about the release date to u crackberry fans hehe

I actually do kind of think it looks most like a 3, although I could definitely see it being a 6 or 9 either. In any case, this is very good news.

Something that's always puzzled me is the way the launch dates and even carrier ID's are such closely guarded secrets. In most businesses, marketers want some lead time to build interest and demand. Sure you get a little buzz this way among the group of phone nuts, but what a way to run an airline!

Most likely 3 or 9...leaning towards 3
Only way it could be a 6 is if it were a sdrawkcab 6
Or an upside down 6...in which case, it would be a 9
...but I say 3

Guessing 9th....Love the design for the Bold 9900 but I want a bigger screen. Any guesses on when rogers will be releasing the Torch 9810?

Why do all of these types of photos resemble Big foot's photos. No one that ever gets close to these things ever can take a picture.

It looks like a curve to me too! To be honest when I first saw the picture, I thought it was a Curve! We'll see what happens...

I just came back from a vacation...is there any way to get invited to this kick off in Toronto?

After taking this picture to the lab (jk) it was determined that it is just one more blurry picture taken with a Chinese knock-off Blackberry :o).

All I can say is "IT'S ABOUT EFFIN' TIME!!!"

I'm not gonna pretend that I can read what that blurry a$$ pic says, but I'm OK with single digit August release date FTW. This gives me a 1 week period for me to relax. If it said Aug 10+, I would punch a hole in my monitor. I can wait one more week XD

Since I won/and am going to BB7 Fan Night, I'm hoping we have a choice between the three 9900/Torch 2/ and Torch 9860

As far as I can tell, except for form factor, the bold 9900 and Torch 2 are the same specs, the 9860 is the only one I can tell so far that brings the 800 x 480 screen res to the table. Or is their something I'm missing with these phones?

I'll be honest I think it looks like a 5 and hey that's my b-day. So it would work out fine by me. Except for the fact I'm on at&t.

Finally! someone from the inner circle. Send a "clear" picture to Adam so that it can be updated on CB and the anxiety will stop :o).

i called almost every rogers in kitchener-waterloo and they all say all they know is its supposed to come out in september. got about the same response from all them

Decisions, decisions. I loved my 9000's form factor. I kinda like the Torch's bigger screen though. I think I have a few days to decide...
