BlackBerry Bold 9780 set to arrive on Virgin Mobile October 21st?

If the advertising material is to be believed it would seem as though the BlackBerry Bold 9780 will soon be arriving on Virgin Mobile. The image above, leaked out earlier today and shows the BlackBerry 9780 marked as a refresh. Information indicates a release date of October 21st with pricing set at $149 on contract and $549 off contract. Since Virgin Mobile has added the BlackBerry Bold 9700 to their EOL list it does make sense. I really can't see Virgin Mobile being the only carrier at that time to launch the device. Keep in mind though, this date has been mentioned many times before when speaking of launch dates for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 on quite a few carriers including Rogers and TELUS.

ummm I'm confused now. No OS 6.0 for 9700 and now this list pops up.. but atleast its virgin mobile.

lol. they won't release OS6 for the 9700 until the 9780 is on sale or people wouldn't upgrade.
ps. had this for for a few months back in july/august. was a very solid phone and fast.

If the 5.0 release shows anything, the phone companies will not release 6.0 for the 9700 for another year (8900 with Rogers prime example)

Glad to see the 9780 get some news. Hopefully T-Mobile and AT&T get it around this date.

Thank you, seems like every time there is BOLD news people start whining about OS 6 and the 9700. Its get rather annoying.

I thought Virgin Mobile is now a branch of Sprint which is a CMDA network.

Virgin Mobile Canada just dropped the 9800. Is it too much to hope that they're also gonna drop the 9780?
