BlackBerry Bold 9700 Simulator Now Available For Download By Bla1ze | 22 Oct 2009 23:07 |
Posts like this one are oh so bittersweet. Sure you get a chance to get a look at the BlackBerry Bold 9700 up close and maybe even drool a little over it's beauty, but it makes ya just rip it off your screen and have it in your hands. The BlackBerry Bold 9700 simulator is now up and available for download. If you're a developer or just a CrackBerry addict, ya might wanna grab this one. A little sidenote though, the OS on the simulator is not the launch OS we're hearing 5.0.0.321 was the "gold" code.

Are you sure that's not a Tour with a trackpad? :)
Yeah, pretty much.
Do you have to agree to anything when you download a simulator? Like is there any hidden requirements or objectives we must fulfill? I just wanted to download one for fun...
You also need the MDS simulator if you want the built-in web browser to work.
latest OS release was 5.0.0.296 leaked here a while back. its sitting on my desktop just in case i 'happen' to snag one of these.
9700M_PBr5.0.0_rel463_PL5.1.0.83_A5.0.0.296
so the "gold" code being released is greater than the OS leak....
interesting to find out if there was a changelog between .296 and .321
After about 10 tries, it finally let me get it! You know, I bought a laptop just for theme development and BlackBerry Java development so hopeully I'll be able to start that this weekend!
This simulator seems great... can't wait to try it
