Shortly after the last update, we now have version 1.1.0.15 available for users to download. At this time there is no current change log available for the newly released version, but users will find the download OTA and BlackBerry.com. If some of you had issues loading it before, give the new update a shot as it may work a little better for you. We'll try and get you a changelog as soon as possible, but in the meantime let us know in the comments if you find anything new.
Yes finally! I've heard so much about the new version and now it's finally here! Hope the changes are only for the better!

I actually found the last update downloaded the images faster than this one. Other than that, I can't tell the difference.
Can't download it onto the Storm OTA running 5.0. Won't let me.
I hope it's not as slow as the last one. I swear the last seemed like it was hogging all the memory on my BOLD...
Weird, weird, weird. My BB Tour wouldn't boot after installing this update. Got a red LED and then it would hang on a blackish screen. I had to disconnect my desktop charger before it would boot.
The big difference for this one seems to be that it loads a lot faster. However, even the techs around the BSCF weren't provided access to the changelog, so we don't know exactly what the differences are.
1st difference is it loaded much faster and didn't lock up the berry. Off to mess around with it now
I have been totally unimpressed with BlackBerry App world. The last version never seemed to work on my Curve. Seemed to just hang. The version before that one worked, but slow. I wish there was a desktop version of the app to make it easer (and FASTER) to browse titles. Personally, I am not going to waste my time installing this. Any app I need I find right here on Crackberry.
I don't know what everyone's fetish with App World is. There is not a single WORTHWHILE app on App World which you cannot get here at CB or OTA, most of the time for much cheaper.
Installed it and now my left convenience key isnt working.
Fail.
App world would be much better if it 1) was a mobile website and not an app and 2) had better payment options.
I downloaded app world 1.1.0.11 and had a hell of time getting to work, initial connection issues then the app did not do all that it said it would do...it finally did start working "properly". Not going to updated this POS until I'm certain the S*%t bugs been worked out...I'd hate to watch as the comments pile up with bugs reports...
is it me or have the top 25 free and top 25 paid apps been the same for the last 2 weeks? I was wondering if that version even updated with newer top 25 apps.
...is based off of downloads/purchases. So as long as the apps in the Top 25 remain the top 25 most downloaded/purchased apps, there's nothing to change. Anyway, as someone who actually checks out App World on a fairly regular basis, I can assure you it does change. Pick one app in the Top 25--like Slacker or something--and watch it over a few weeks. It will move up and down a few spots.

Users were unable to cancel or restart the process and it made the attempted app downloads useless. This would cause a lot of problems if you were unable to download applications you have purchased from app world.
I definitely had that problem; I am installing .15 now and hopefully it will fix it!

it does loads pic faster and it seems like it doesnt lagg as much when there is a big list of programs to scroll through. cool it was anoying me
i had updated App World before....got these two notifications to update apps i had on my bb and i updated the apps...the notification is not gone, it stayed there :S i even updated to this current upgrade and the notifications are still there even though i upgraded!!
I had this issue as well with the App World Notifications. All you need to do is go into your messages folder (not the individual email accounts folders) and scroll until you find the notifications for App World updates. Simply delete them like you would any other message and you are all set!
I am having the same problem with my Tour. I can not get the download notifications to go away. I tried going to my messages and deleting it there as suggested but I could not find anything to delete. Any further help on how to get rid of these notifications would be appreciated!

I notice now that any apps that I delete from Options>Advanced>Applications now end up still in whatever folder (e.g. "Downloads") they were originally located in with a green arrow pointing left and the word (Archived) tagged on to the end of the name.
What a pain! Now I have to go to My World and again click Delete to totally delete this. I don't ever remember having to do this before this version. Anyone else bothered by this too?
BTW, thank you very much for posting this notice about the upgrade, I wouldn't have known otherwise. CB rocks!
I deleted App World because of this archiving issue. Come on one reboot was bad enough but to get rid of the archived another 2nd reboot is needed. That is not cool. Bye bye App World, it was fun till you screwed up.

Is it just me or is Blackberry App World not updating the new apps even with the latest update? I see the same number of apps for each category for the last couple of days.

HELP. In this version and the previous update i've had issues with updating paid applications. It tell me i have an update, i click upgrade and it says i must log in to my account through "my world" after i type my password. I then try to log in through "my world" and it says "try again later. I JUST WANT TO UPGRADE AN APP I ALREADY BOUGHT.
I just downloaded App World 1.1.0.15, and ahve no problems with it. To me, it seems to load up a bit faster, and the images display faster, nice improvemennt...

Not worth the headache. staying away from app world.
downloaded onto my 8330, worked fine BUT still a major memory leak. lost over 2 megs of memory in an hour when it was installed. kept it on for a day and lost another 2 did a reboot, memory came back but within an hour started leaking again. uninstalled it and memory leak gone. Had to be the app world

I have this same problem and I tried taking your advice about deleting the notifications in my messages, but I can't not find them in the message folder so I am stuck with the notification on my screen. Any help would be great!
Still, I like that the app now notifies you without having to go to My World within the App that upgrades are available for my installed applications
i noe a major update for the last update, was the ability to use ur memorey card for the apps...i couldnt tell if this was working nor can i do so in this update...any settings that i have to change so thaty it saves on the memory card and not take up application memory?
