Howdy CrackBerry nation! I hope you are all excited for not only the upcoming weekend but for the news and happenings in the world of BlackBerry this week. Not to mention our selection of apps and games, but we'll get to that later. One bit of news to hit the blog was this week is the rollout of OS 10.3.2 for U.S. carriers. Verizon's support site shows the update as coming soon for all their BB10 devices and the Classic right now while T-Mobile began rolling it out to Classic devices on June 17th. If you're on AT&T with a Z10 or Q10, those updates have also began with more devices to follow soon. Also, if you haven't already, be sure to check out our White BlackBerry Classic unboxing.

Finally, for those of you in the continental US, be sure to take advantage of ShopCrackBerry's Father's Day Sale. From now until Sunday June 21, they are offering 20% off all BlackBerry Accessories by entering in the coupon code listed on the post at checkout.

Now it's time to bring you this week's picks for all your passionate BlackBerry addicts out there. You can find each app and game I've rustled up for you by clicking through the gallery below. If your favorite did not make the cut this week, remember you can help by offering your suggestions at the end.

Going through the mailbag this week I came across this application. Designed specifically for Alfa Romeo fans, this application provides news and updates on this iconic Italian car manufacturer, lets you add your car servicing, insurance, and MOT test dates into your calendar, gives access to Alfa Romeo's social network, and offers beautiful and sharp wallpapers of their models. You can purchase it for BlackBerry 10 for $0.99.

Autodesk Sketchbook by Autodesk Inc.

Autodesk Sketchbook

As many of you will be quick to point out in the comments, we've already been introduced to a few sketch applications already. However, I love having options especially when each one brings something different to the table. Autodesk Sketchbook is one such application. Dubbed as being a professional-grade painting and drawing application, it is a mobile version of their desktop counterpart. It delivers a smooth experience and an extremely easy-to-use interface. Whether you wish to doodle or jot down ideas the entire screen is your canvas. The top of the screen is where the settings are placed but they do not interfere with your drawings. If they do, there is a button to remove all but one button. There are over 10 preset brushes, including pencils, pens, and markers, a color picker, and a link to deviantART for additional inspiration. While free to download in the Amazon Appstore, they include a link to their store to upgrade to the Pro version for $3.99. Here you will find additional tools, gradients, layers, colors, and smudge and synthetic brushes for creating different textures.

BBM beta for BlackBerry 10 update brings 'Private Chat' and Quote Message features

BBM beta for BB10 updated

This week the latest BBM beta became available to download in the BlackBerry Beta Zone for those who participate in the program. The update brought with it new private chat features, the ability to order sticker packs and customize which sticker packs you see in the picker, and the ability to reference and reply to a previous message in your chat. Please note that certain features, such as the Quote Message, will only work with other beta BBM users. As this is in the BlackBerry beta zone, be sure to offer any feedback you can provide before the release becomes official.
