Freebies Of The Week:
Twinkle - allows you to set and keep track of upcoming and past events. Twinkle will tell you how far away an event is, and allow you to add it to your calendar.
iCaller Location v1.2.02 - iCallerLocation shows the area code, city, and state of the incoming caller (United States only) and pinpoints the location on the Blackberry Maps. You will know where the call is coming from within the United States (will cover all cities in North America in the future). Mapping caller’s location is automatic with every incoming call.
Automatic look up.
Automatic pinpoints the location on the Blackberry Maps.
Actual and valid 443,435 NPA/NXX combination in the North American Numbering Plan.
Phone Logger Lite v1.0.3 - Ever wish you could view more than your last 20 calls made, received or missed? Made or received a call from someone and you can't remember the number? Phone Logger enables you to generate Call logs and sort them by date, type of call, duration and caller. Email reports of all phone activity on demand, any time! Includes all placed, received and missed calls.
Logs and Reports include:
Email your Log in several formats:
Note:Due to device limitations, OS 5 users are limited to a rolling 30 day history of calls.
SmartBdocs - Extremely simple to use, simply launch the app, click the button for the document you wish to create, and name the file. A new document is saved to your media card, which you can then open and edit with Docs2Go. SmartBDocs is the perfect companion to that software, and costs a fraction of the upgrade fee you would pay otherwise. Available in the CB store for only $.99, you will be hard pressed to find a reason NOT to get this.
Peek-A-GO! - An update of the timeless peek-a-boo game (which still makes me giggle), Peek-A-GO! caters to young crowd; 0 to 3 years of age that is. Unlike Baby GO/ Super Baby GO, there is only one activity to play. Your child will have to press multiple buttons to reveal what is behind the curtain; which turn out to be animals (both real and fictional). It’s a great way to engage the attention of your child, as short as it is. The only problem I have is competing with my son for time with my BlackBerry. You can pick up Peek-A-GO! from BlackBerry App World for $2.99 USD.
BeerPong - Brings all the excitement of everyone's favorite game right to your device. No more warm beer or sticky Solo cups. Fire up Beer Pong and play by yourself or challenege a friend. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it you'll be a master in no time. No frilly options in this one so just download and go. While obviously not for everyone, most should get some good play from it and can even stay sober in the process. Beer Pong is available for $2.99 in the CrackBerry App Store.
New This Week:
FoneFinder v1.0.0 - This app allows you to find the location of the blackberry phone upon which it is installed. So if you've lost your phone, want to track your employees, children or find out how long until your partner is home from work, this is the app for you. Simply email or SMS the phone with your password and it will reply with the phones location - determined by GPS. The app also features a covert mode whereby it will delete location request emails on arrival. Simple to use.

SmartBunny2 Chinese checkers for BlackBerry v1.0 - Chinese checkers (a variant of Halma) is a popular family board game that can be played by two to six people. The objective of the game is to place one's pieces (marbles) in the corner opposite their starting position of a pitted hexagram by single moves or jumps over other pieces.
Play Chinese checkers against up to five computer players
Complete Home First Aid v2.4.2 - This Complete Home First Aid app describes important first aid techniques in easy to understand, non-technical audio/video demonstrations by certified first aid professionals. Access it within seconds from your BlackBerry® and take it everywhere you go. Please note that an SD (media) card is required in order to download and use this application. This application is ideal for teachers, coaches, parents, care givers, employers, and anyone who works with groups of people indoors or out. Available in English, French, German, and Spanish.
Cell Network or Wifi - is a small app that automatically listens for a WiFi connection and will successfully connect to the nearest WiFi spot and disconnect from the cell network. When out of WiFi range, your BlackBerry automatically reconnects to the cell network. It is easy to turn both On and Off with a single click of the application and shows its status with an icon/indicator on the home screen.
Look, I get it. I screwed up last week folks when I said Weather Plus was free, I am terribly sorry. In my defense, it was a promotional item that was listed as free when I downloaded it, and it was functional as I followed the instructions at the time. That out of the way, I noticed most folks were upset about this. So here I am with my efforts to correct this matter for you all. I reached out to the folks over MMMOOO who also sent their apologies for not making it clearer for everyone as well. In respect of it all, we got 50 copies of Weather plus to give away to you all. Drop your comments, we'll post up the winners at a later time. Now, can we all just hug this one out? :)
Until Next Week..
