buzzd Updated

For those using buzzd, an update has come down the pipe that you may wish to install if you haven't already. The update brings us Facebook and Twitter integration, allowing you to post a 'buzz' from your current location/event that will seamlessly update your statuses. Cool. Many other little tweaks and feature updates have been included, so head on over to BlackBerry App World to download and install the latest version for free.

SmrtMonitor

Track and monitor your BlackBerry usage with SmrtMonitor from SmrtGuard. This one breaks down your usage into percentages (as you can see in the screenshot above) to give you a better idea of how you use your Berry. SmrtMonitor is available for all devices running OS 4.2 or newer... and is on sale for $3.99 until December 31st.

Help I Crashed My Car

New from Summit Software Solutions, 'Help I Crashed My Car' is an app built with your safety in mind. Use it for those very unfortunate situations when an incident happens on the road. It puts all of your critical contacts right in front of you, including emergency services, your car repair shop, and more. There's even a section to help you punch in an accident report, and a guide to show you what to do when you've been in an accident. Help I Crashed My Car is a 'peace of mind' app... Install it, but hopefully you never have to use it!

SMS Statistics

Record all of your incoming and outgoing SMS messages on your BlackBerry with SMS Statistics. You can use this one to monitor messages, and even to send out detailed reports every month or every day. If you send a lot of SMS messages, and want to keep track of things (and how much you may be spending), give SMS Statistics a look. It should work just fine on all BlackBerry devices running OS 4.5 and up.

PBA Bowling 2

The folks at Concrete Software recently launched the latest in the PBA Bowling series, PBA Bowling 2. The new version features Open GL 3D graphics, making for a game chalked full of graphic awesomeness. Of course you'll get all of the options you're used to from the first version, including three difficulty levels, a single game option, tournament mode, and a spare challenge. New PBA tour locations are included, all of the tour oil patterns are included, and much more.

Compatible with the Storm2 only, PBA Bowling 2 is on sale now for $2.99 until January 4th.

Vorino Battery

New from Verino Software comes yet another Battery utility. Vorino Battery runs in the background and notifies you when your battery has dropped to a percentage of your choosing. Many other options are found within, including custom color, gradient and blend options (for display purposes), and a lot more. Two versions of this app are available, one for non-touchscreen devices, and another for touchscreen goodness.

InstantLog

Save all of your vital communications to your calendar with InstantLog. You can set it up to define exactly what to log, and there are tons of options within... including the ability to log missed calls, outgoing calls, incoming calls, emails, SMS messages and more. You choose the calendar you'd like to log info in... Plus, there's even a privacy feature that lets you add email addresses to a blacklist to prevent them from being logged. Need a translator? Navita Translator is a translation client built for BlackBerry. Translate words and phrases from your email, browser, SMS messages, or by typing directly into the translator. Inside you'll find the ability to translate to 52 languages, and the app is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish. The developer assures compatibility with all devices including the Storm series... Although Storm users be sure to disable compatibility mode!
