Freebies Of The Week:
Spend Smart Coupons - Spend Smart is an application that enables you to save money with grocery coupons directly from your BlackBerry smartphone. By partnering with grocery stores that have loyalty cards, we save coupons right to your card. All you have to do is use your loyalty card at checkout to receive the discount!
They currently work at over 4500 locations nationwide including; Safeway, Kroger, Ralphs, Vons, Smiths, Frys, ShopRite, Randalls, Dominicks, and Giant Eagle. Over 20 more are supported! Download and register to see the stores available in your area. They are currently lacking coverage in FL, MN, WI, OK, IA, and upper New England including MA, but they’re adding stores all the time.
Forms - Enable your team to collect structured data quickly and easily on their BlackBerry devices. Design forms on our web-based designer, push them to your team, and route their responses through to a wide range of connectors. The questions you place in your forms support a range of data types and can include validation constraints (prevent the form from being submitted) and be conditionally visible on the flow of answers already provided.
The app supports offline form completion (no network connectivity available), and saving of partially completed forms for returning to at a later time. It makes full use of BlackBerry Push, so doesn't drain your battery polling our server, and the BIS transport (when available) so you don't incur extra data costs.
On the server, received forms can be submitted through a range of connectors, including:
inserted into a Google Spreadsheet
stored in Amazon S3
routed to any HTTP REST endpoint
The server API also supports pushing pre-populated forms to specific members of your team, as a 'oneshot' work item for them to complete.
Cue - Simple Reminders. Cue will alert you of your reminders even when all alerts are off. A tone will play, your phone will vibrate and your reminder will be displayed. Cue is extremely simple to use. Use Cue to remind yourself to turn your ringer and alerts back on, an important event, or anything you'd like to be reminded of. Simply select the reminder date and time and enter your reminder text. Cue automatically starts up with your device and runs in background.
Dipdive - Dipdive is a Lifestyle Engine for Music, Arts, Action & More. In addition to flagship artists, such as the Black Eyed Peas, Dipdive is home to variety of creative content and social causes. Check out DailyDips, a daily program covering Comedy, Music, Fashion, Sports and Film. Be the first to hear about exclusive Dipdive events, like Dipdive Nights!
You'll find out about the latest content first: videos, pictures, news and blogs. MyFriendTweeter - Advanced friend finder for Twitter. Use a biographical description of your interests to locate new friends. Full English language support during search. Just supply an English worded text of your interests and who you are. The program will iteratively search Twitter for users that best match your interests. Far more accurate than other search technology. MyFriendTweeter is an open-ended search engine which continuously scours Twitter for new possible candidate matches. All found friend results can be uploaded to a Twitter account and added to the "following" list.
My Fashion - If you are among those people who would like to look good all the time and if you very cautious about your style, then My Style is just the application you need. People are use to spending a lot of money on clothes and accessories before even knowing if they appeal to others, but My Style can change that for you. My Style gives you the ability to take a picture of the items, and using the items you can form an outfit you are planning to wear. You can share the outfit on Facebook or Email it to you friend so that you know what others think of it before you actually spend money on it.
You can view items, outfits, and accessories, and then form the outfits with those so that you don’t miss out on any combination that you might not have tried before and of course you can get your friend’s opinion before you actually wear it.
SecureX - Do your friends, co-workers and family always use your BlackBerry without asking you first? Do you have sensitive data or applications that you do not want others to see or open? If you answer yes, then you need SecureX. SecureX allows you to assign applications to the protected list. Anyone trying to open the protected app will need a password to open it. Without the valid password the application will not open.
You can also enable global protection for 3rd party and or system applications. This will protect all apps from launching. If you do not want this then add custom apps to the protected list. SecureX DOES NOT save your password anywhere on your BlackBerry. It only stores the hash of your password for authentication. Due to the design with SecureX the Camera and Video application are not protected.
