Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday so far and getting ready for the weekend. It's time once again for the weekly App Roundup. Now I spent my time wisely this week rustling up some new, cool, and helpful applications for all you BlackBerry addicts to try. Be sure to check them out and remember you can help by offering your suggestions at the end.

Bookmarklets by SCrApps

I happened to come across this interesting app by resident forums member and developer SCrApps. It involves the use of bookmarklets, which is described as JavaScript commands stored inside bookmarks. What this means is that they add functionality to your web browser. Say for instance you wanted to send an internet page faster than using the share icon. Just use the email bookmarklet and it automatically launches the compose message screen with the site populated in the body. This app comes with a variety of functions, such as getting a QR code, decreasing or increasing image sizes, and its as simple as adding the bookmarklet to your Bookmark list. Available for BlackBerry 10, it only cost $.99 and is another solid offering from SCrApps.

Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing by SEGA of Americas

Growing up with video games, my favorite type happens to be those of the racing variety and I go all the way back to Pole Position on Atari. This addicting gem lets you race as your favorite character through sixteen courses all while dodging traps, firing missiles and competing with your friends. Good news is that you can race against your BBM and Scoreloop friends as well as anyone in the world with online multiplayer mode. The downside is that it is only supports the BlackBerry Q10, Z10, and PlayBook at this time. It's fun, filled with amazing graphics, and is one you certainly won't be able to put down. You can find it at the link for $1.99.

Power Clock by David Jones II

One of the features on BBOS I found useful was when I charged by 9900 at the end of the day it launched the clock. For those seeking something similar on BB10, forums member stardomains decided to code an instant preview notification that when pressed opens the Power Clock app to display a full screen dimmable clock.  Users can choose the clock color or set it to random, enable the ability to speak the time, change to 24 hour time, show the date on the active frame, rotate the screen in case you are using a horizontal charger, and turn on/off the option to quit on power disconnect. This is a headless application and requires OS 10.2.1. Be sure to grab it for $.99.
