Howdy CrackBerry nation! Hope you all are ready for the weekend. This week has just flown by and I just do not know where to begin. First and foremost, there is the thorough and comprehensive review of the BlackBerry Leap by none other than our EiC himself, Bla1ze. I highly recommend you take a moment to read through the entire piece. Also this week we saw an update to BBM beta which finally gave users the ability to hide sticker packs (though not delete them) and a brand new Twitter for BlackBerry 10 update. All in all a very good week if I say so myself.

Now it's time to bring you this week's picks for all your passionate BlackBerry addicts out there. You can find each app and game I've rustled up for you by clicking through the gallery below. If your favorite did not make the cut this week, remember you can help by offering your suggestions at the end.

Text Clock by Ordinary Spoon

Going through the storefront this week I came across Text Clock which is exactly what it says it is. It is a text-based clock application for your BlackBerry device and spells out each word to tell you the time. Depending on how you wish to view the time there are two options. The first shows the time by lighting up certain characters while others stay greyed out in the background while the other only displays the text related to the time. Users have several options at their fingertips, including the ability to change the font color of the lit text and customize three alarms each with their own sound. The clock updates in five-minute intervals and is a different way to quickly get the time on your display. Text Clock is $0.99 for BlackBerry 10.

Moon+ Reader Pro by Moon+ Reader

If there is one activity I enjoy, especially when traveling or commuting, it is reading. My latest just happens to be A Dance with Dragons. What better way to plow through the 1,000+ page opus than reading electronically on my BlackBerry. Moon+ Reader Pro supports txt, html, epub, pdf, mobi, umd, fb2, chm, zip, and OPDS files. The free version offers full visual options, 10+ themes (i.e. Day and Night mode switcher), 24 customized options (including swipe gesture), 15 customized events, 5 auto-scroll modes, intelligent paragraph options, and a keep your eyes health option for long-time reading. The pro version offers all that and more to ensure all the bibliophiles out there get the best possible experience. Moon+ Reader Pro is $4.90 to download from the Amazon Appstore but you can try the limited feature free version. However it lacks PDF support and has an older interface.

South Park Pinball by Zen Studios

Those foul-mouthed elementary school boys are back in this pinball adventure based on the popular TV show. With every reference, sound, and character imaginable this two-table pinball game delivers an entertaining experience. One table is based on the town of South Park, and mimics the paper cutout style, while the other is devoted to Butters and his very own pinball game. As someone who has been a fan since the very beginning, you will love all of the references and sound clips taken from their vast media library. South Park Pinball is $3.99 in the Amazon Appstore.

Flowpaper by Diatom Studio Ltd

I may not be an artist but I have to say even a few strokes creates beautiful designs that can be saved, shared, and even set as your wallpaper. If you are fond of doodling or of abstract designs then this application gives you endless possibilities. There are several color palettes and brushes to choose from, the ability to change the brushes length, flow or opacity, and the option to choose between touch mode or continuous draw mode. Flowpaper is priced at $1.99 in the Amazon Appstore and is quite relaxing.
