BlackBerry App Roundup for April 11, 2014

Quicktape and geoalarm, 2 great apps I wasn't aware of. Will definately be using geoalarm all the time

Buy a bb, get a droid for free

Thank you for the weekly list of apps. In spite of the complaints that there are not enough apps in BlackBerry World, there are still too many for many of us to evaluate.

Id3diot completely messed up my library. I only had a couple of fixes to make and now there are tons of problems, and they won't go back to normal :/

Question: Is there any good android apps available to record calls? I want an app that does not record off speaker, but an actual call.

I think due to the other persons voice being emitted from the earpiece, it's inaccessible for recordings. But perhaps a Google search would yield your answer.

Thank You, I try to Google for good recording app and got lots of suggestions.
However, I don't want to install each and test which one perform good if anyone already using one good app.

I use Call Recorder+Voice Recorder by X-Reve in BBW. While not having it on Speaker makes the other caller a little softer on the recording, it is fine in my opinion and serves my purpose well.

CrackBerry, I know you guys want the page clicks, but come on! These multipage articles take forever to load on a mobile device; don't even bother on a PlayBook! And for those of us with slow corporate laptops, it's just agonizing having to wait forever going from page to page. We can hardly even scroll the page until your copious ads and tracker cookies [try to] load. Jeeze!

It may be your service. The pages load instantly on my Z10 -Verizon 4G LTE. The same is true when on most wifi. Depending on your service, this format is much easier to navigate, vs scrolling through an article covering 7 or 8 apps.

Yes, but when we access this site vis computer, we have no choice but go from page to page to page to page. It gets old in a rush. So old that I seldom look at the site when I am on my computer. Which is a pain to have a large screen to rest the weary eyes from the up close and personal reading on my Q10.

Yes, I prefer having all of the article on one page. Scrolling is a lot easier then clicking six or seven times, especially with an article like this where I just want to scan through and only have to stop if I see an app that may interest me.

Does Photo Fonty do memes as well?

The classic white text with black border should be doable, right?

"No Q10?" -> "Buy from Chen... "

Thank you, miss Alicia. I saw there are games too in this section, so I can wholeheartedly recommend the following ones, in no particular order:

- Mahjong Solitaire Epic
- Monopoly
- Solitaire City

Games have wonderful graphics, nice physics, and quality backround sound effects. You have to pay for them, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for, and that's what matters.

Thanks. I've already covered Mahjong but I will take at the others.
