i been wanting to get one of these i hate hvaing to look for the cord to charge my 9650 i have a few laying around and i have to say i've got through 3 of em since my dog has chewed up my charging cords to have a charging pod would be great ...

right now, i would just rest my blackberry against a book on my dresser so it sort of acts like a "dock" and if i wake up in the middle of the night, i can see the time without picking it up; a real dock would be much more convenient!

With my Storm, I could easily dock my BlackBerry to backup and sync my media as it neatly sat under my desktop monitor. (It almost blended in as they are both black.) It would stare beautifully back at me notifying me of new emails and BBMs. With my Torch I am constantly having to turn it and mess around with it when I am trying to backup and sync. A new pod would be AWESOME and a blessing! Thanks!

I love that my BlackBberry has a clock and bedside mode function, as it gets used instead of having a seperate alarm clock. However, a CHARGING POD would make it work so much better than having to lie it flat on my night stand. Help me out CrackBerry!

hey i have the blackberry 9700...and as a medical student...i am always at a different city for my rotations and i hate getting a clock when i know my blackberry can do the same...i use my phone as my alarm clock everywhere i go and i would love to have a charging pod because it works as my personal phone and as a loud alarm...so please pick me for the win...it would mean alot and as a fan of crackberry.com...i like to say thanks...=)

A charging dock solves all my problems with the usb charging cable such as being unable to view the clock as i can't make my BlackBerry stand by itself unless a support is provided for it and also it allows me to view my BlackBerry's screen quickly and anytime I wish while working on my desk or at home when I'm on my bed and the ease of viewing it as a clock on the dock itself.

Would really appreciate a charging dock like this as it didn't come with my BlackBerry box set, kinda sad about that though.

Actually, this would be perfect. I bought one of these for my original Storm and used it daily. I switched to the Storm 2, and since then have been suffering from withdrawal. All the plugging and unplugging has begun to wear the mini usb adapter slot. Being able to slide my Blackberry Tour into the cradle is so much easier then fumbling with cord and potentially scratching *gasp* the rubbered side.

The charging pods are a great accessory to have, not only do they allow you to use your phone as a clock by tilting it to where you can see it, but the most important thing to me is that it gives you a way to store the phone without putting the camera lens on a surface at all.

I've got just the spot for this beauty. Currently, I'm having to prop my Torch up to charge it. I try to keep my Torch in pristine condition, so I use a cloth to protect it. This pod would certainly be a welcome addition on my desk and help protect my Torch.

I am constantly having to deal with a random cord on my desk while I'm dealing with business owners and their staff. It'd be much more professional if I had a lovely chromed charging pod.

Using my phone constantly means I have to charge it every night. My charging area is a mess because of wires criss-crossing everywhere, and becoming tangled as things are plugged/unplugged. If nothing else, having a location that stays put will clean up the mess of my charging area :)

I hate the usb charging thingy alot. at night i already get mix up with other cables!! with the charging pod i can easily tell if i *grab* the right thing at night:D

I feel like everytime i charge my blackberry, either the front or the back gets scratched because i have to put it on one side. The front, with the screen, makes it hard to see if scratched and the back, with the camera, will damage picture quality. With this pod, i can charge it on its side and not scratch front or back

whenever I charge my blackberry torch, it's always a hassle to pick up the lil cord and plug it in. The poor ol guy doesn't feel comfortable. with the new charging dock however, i can just snuggly place it in the charging dock and BAM. happiness :)

This would be great to see the time while in bed. I couldn't believe the release devices like the 8520 or 9800 without the connection pad for charging pods.

I work at a company that makes grafts and implants made of human and bovine tissue used to improve life after surgical procedures. I am the Senior Maintenance tech for the one and only validated machine for cleansing the tissue in the world today. I am constantly using my phone to call vendors and work mates to troubleshoot problems throughout the day. I use my personal phone and do not ask the company for anything else but to keep helping the Biotech world and human life with our product. It would be great to have a docking station to keep my, and possibly your, life line charged and ready to go. Please keep me in mind.

I plug my phone into the charger at night and listen to music to fall to sleep. Sometimes the charger comes out a little so it doesn't charge the phone. If I had a charging pod, i wouldn't have to worry about it not being plugged in all the way.

I loved the one I had for my 9530(s1), it was great having it by the bed on the night stand. Now I need one for my bold 9650, so much easier to put it in the pod then plug in the usb every time I need to charge my berry.

I always throw my blackberry Storm onto my desk, and often forget to plug it into the charging wire (which always tends to ravel itself in a tangled mess with the empty mugs, other cables and anything else I have lying around on my invariably messy desk). Sometimes I miss my alarm because it's dead by morning.

Not only would this look awesome beside my bed, I can stop picking up my Blackberry every time someone texts me after I go to bed - I can just view the message with my phone standing in the pod! I always charge at work with a charger cable and sometimes my 8900 gets lost under paperwork or other stuff. It would be great to put this little dock under my LCD monitor to watch it charge and have the clock up as well.

This would be great for my girlfriend. She just had to buy a new BB because her USB port wore out and it was very difficult to get it to recognize a charger was plugged into it. This seems like the ideal solution to prevent the wearing out of the USB port.

I charge my phone with the wall charger next to my bed. Every once in awhile the cord will fall off the nightstand and land on my dog. She then jumps up and runs off scared. This charging pod would be more stable and my dog would get a good nights rest. :-)
