I mean who doesn't need 16 gigs?? I will finally be able to throw that non-song finding POS ipod that i have in to the drawer with the rest of the obsolete electronics and I could use my 9700 for everything!!!

i've got a ridiculous amount of pictures. i'm always the person taking snapshots of friends or family or strange people or anything that catches my eye wherever i am or whenever it is... would be pretty awesome to have all of them on my blackberry all the time and have the slideshow app i downloaded randomly flash them on my screen every few seconds, or be able to show and email someone i haven't seen in a while that 'weird shot i took of them last year at that random bar in whatever town'.

I think it would be quite helpful in storing my music collection.

My storm 9530 went missing for a day and it was returned to me. Too bad someone took my 8gb card before giving it back. Having only 1gb of memory on my phone is so limited. This would definitely solve my problems. Plus I never win in these contests so if there was ever a time for me to get my first win.....it would be now! HA!

I just joined the site - I followed the Crackberry blog when I had a Curve a few years ago, but getting a Storm 2 in the mail tomorrow, thought I'd sign up :)

What I would do with 16GB:

2GB: Kindle books
4GB: Free for miscellaneous storage / not have to carry a thumb drive
9GB: Music!

As a nanny to 18 month old twins my 8 gig is completely full of media for them, music for my 11 year old daughter and my own PodTrapper podcasts. I defiantly need more space so I don't have to waste so much time transferring new content for old. My kids love the music and videos but 8 gigs is just not enough, especially considering how many videos and pictures I take of them.:-)

I use my BlackBerry for everything. It's my iPod, it's my digital camera, and it's my briefcase. My small memory card cannot satisfy my media hunger and 16GB of space would be heaven...Please CrackBerry!

the included 256 on my 8900 was ok for a while but then I've upgraded to 8gb since. Being able to have more storage for items that sync via SugarSync would be a good use of the extra space.

In the event the zombie apocalypse strikes us, my iPod touch would be rendered useless due to the bright screen and need to have it exposed to use it, therefore giving away my position and attracting the zombies to me.

With this large SD card, I could sync my music to my BlackBerry and then use the media player in nearly complete darkness due to the physical controls of the BlackBerry Bold 9700. I'd like to survive and not become one of the shamblers, so a nice big SD card would be a much welcomed entertainment tool when the zombies strike.

I use mine for music, video's, pictures, and documents. I also created a special folder to keep 1 copy of a DM backup. I don't store anything on the blackberry itself. I could use a 16gig card, so that I can hold more music and files. Its one of the reasons I switched from iphone to blackberry. Just makes life much more easier.

I handle all the phones for my company and we have over 10 locations. It's handy if I can carry things with me like a copy of Blackberry Desktop Manager, various updates for device software, software for other phones our company uses, and the list goes on. I often have to update or maintain phones on-the-road, and some extra storage would really help save me some time!

Since my car got broken into and my 4 year old iPod stolen, I've been using my Bold 9000 as my mp3 player when I workout or hike. But, I only have a 2GB card.

So, on Saturday my phone was STOLEN at my work by some bratty college freshmen living in the dorms! Not only do I not have a phone, I have no music which I used to listen to on my blackberry, but also my memory card that was in it is now gone (it was 2GB, it worked for what i needed). I'm the Blackberry guru in the group of people I know. So when ever they have a question they ask me, send me a pic, or I down load a file and send it to them. I am also a music lover and part of my job is to drive around delivering car parts so I go through tons of music and podcasts to make my day less monotonous as possible. I love taking pics and video everywhere I go so having large storage is great to have. Especially when you meet up with people you haven't seen in awhile and get to use your BB as a digital photo album. There are so many good reasons I would use and appreciate winning this! I would love to have a new MicroSD Card. I currently have a 4GB one in my Blackberry Curve 8330, but I use it for everything from pictures to videos to music. I don't own an iPod, so I use my Blackberry as my primary music player, but I'm running out of room on my 4GB card.

I have a 8gb now on my curve 8530 and I am constantly deleting files, mp3's to make more room. 8GB is not enought.

I could store many more songs, videos, podcasts, etc... than the 2G card I have now in my Curve 8530.

My current 4GB card is holds a lot, but I keep adding music, and just last night, I added videos. AC/DC was in concert, and I recorded a few 30 second videos of their awesome show. If I had a larger card, I would have recorded a bit more and taken more pictures.

I frequently take pictures of my goat, and I am constantly running out of room on my current card to store all the pictures.

I also take video of the goat to show my friends, and we all know that goat videos take up A LOT of space.

And I record my voice notes so my goat can hear soothing sounds of me just in case my voice goes out sometime.

Sooo.... I need this card to keep my goat happy.

I own a Bold 9000 and I'm always snapping pics and saving documents for school, owning a 16GB microSDHC would help a lot, as I also like to have songs on my phone but I don't keep a lot so I will have some memory to spare.

Make sure when you are looking for new SDHC cards that you insure that you get at least a class 4 or preferably class 6 rated card. The faster the card (higher class) the faster the transfer rate. This is even more important with the greater capacity cards. Also remember to back up your card to prevent data loss on a regular basis. Go BB.

If I had this size memory card then I would have double the memory I have now making it so I wouldn't have to worry about storage on my blackberry smartphone.

I always have to go through my card and delete pictures and songs to make room for new. It would be great to have that much storage. Much better than the 2gb one I have.

I work for a company that builds control systems for remote Oil and Natural Gas wells. That means that part of my time is spent out in some of the most desolate locations of the country. My BlackBerry comes in handy when someone needs to email me a firmware upgrade or I need to send out logs to Tech Support. When I'm not on-site, I'm constantly going through documents, pdfs and pictures from Marketing on new ideas of products we develop. Having more storage comes in handy with the huge amounts of data going through my BlackBerry.

I travel, ALOT, adn having the ability to just plug a usb cable into a computer, and pull up my stored docs, programs, and transportable apps (read portable apps) without having to lug about a laptop, would be great. Plus on the bb, I can use docs to go, and other apps, to modify while on the plane.

With 16GB, this would replace my music iPod, hold all digital pictures, save large attachments for email.

Honestly, it would be great for the music I could keep with me. I do send and receive quite a few documents from my BB and take pics as well, but primarily it would be for the tunes. No more need for the iPod or a flash drive sounds fantastic!

As a graphic designer I am always inspired by things that i see when i am out and about. I need a large capacity memory card to help me capture all of these images that inspire me.

Sandisk is an amazing company that makes lots of memory cards. I have their memory stick pro duo's for my digital camera.

My app memory is like 24 mb on my Bold 9000 and my device memory is like 55 mb due to all the videos and pictures I have saved.

This microSDHC card would be amazing to win because it would really allow me to utilize my phone fully and I can save a lot of tv shows and movies.

Between all of my MP3s and movie files, my 8 GB card filled up very quickly. Having double the space would definitely help me pass my time on my various travels.

A 16gb card would be a vast improvement over the measly 2gig card I was given. I have a bunch of photos and music downloads that are near to maxing out the small card. Here's hoping that this time the results are different than all the other prize giveaways that always come up short for me.

Well, besides the obvious movies, music, and docs... I also use my BlackBerry Bold as a portable HD.. I transfer information from My computer, work computer, friends computer, etc. And I even use my Bold to download Desktop Applications when I'm on the go.. Yes, they don't execute on the BB but, they will download to the MicroSD so that I can transfer to my PC later. .... My 8GB is suffocating already!

My Blackberry Tour has almost completely replaced my 8GB iPod Nano. I listen to and watch a lot of Podcasts which previously would not fit on my iPod without removing my music. Now I have my iPod for music and my Blackberry for video. I want to use my Blackberry for everything, and this would seal the deal.

Once upon a time, I had a lowly 8gb mp3 player, but more recently, it's moved on to greener pastures. Since I already carry my Blackberry everywhere, it's been delegated as a replacement for my mp3 player. 16 gigs of space to store all my music in would not only set my music collection free again, but I could still use all the extra space for storage for carrying home various documents from work and school. And everyone knows that a Blackberry is always better stuffed full of music and documents!

A 16gig Micro SD card would be awesome, because it would allow me to have all my music on my phone and avoid carrying my ipod. Rather stick to just my RIM product.

I'm using my Bold for Geocaching with TrekBuddy, so I carry lots bitmapped maps with me (actually nearly 4 GB as I only own a 4 GB Memory Card). So I would love to win one so I can carry some more maps to the fields and woods :)

My ipod touch just recently decided to take a dive into some water in my car and the screen decided being black was the best way of working lol... I'm not just saying this, but I absolutely hate apple because they like to rip ppl off. Therefore, I am not buying another touch and my blackberry has become my #1 source for media. I only have a 2 gb media card and a 16 gb would be the perfect replacement as that was the size of my ipod touch

PPTs and DOCs with images add up over time. As do 3 hour video files and the occasional .exe file (just for storage and portability purposes). Crackberry podcasts, too, of course!

Iove my Storm 9550 and nothin' beats having everything I need on one device when I'm out and about. I'm not an audiophile but I love great SQ in my music. When I want to tune out for a while I turn to my SanDisk Sansa Clip+. I can't believe the sound quality that comes from this little giant. I download most of my music I'm FLAC format which takes up quite a bit more room than mp3. 950kbps vs 128kbps is so worth it. I need to acquire a few of these 16Gb micros. Nothin' bit BlackBerry and SanDisk for me.

with 16GB you will never miss a moment either pic, movie or voice record.
also my 8GB stick makes my bold much better media tool than my wife's Ipod, my 2 yrs baby like watch tom & jerry episodes on it.
my whole life is hanged on this stick.

I store music , photos, documents on my Blackberry. I have frequently run out of space on my 2gb card and have to transfer needed information to my PC.
A 16GB card would certainly ensure that all my info is with me all the time on my Blackberry.

I am going on vac. I can just take my phone instead on the camera...

This 16gb memory card would really simplify my life. I travel a lot and I sometimes get tired of switching between my movie mem card and my music one. This way I can have all items on one card and enjoy continuous entertainment during my trips.

I use my Storm as a media player - and need a larger MicroSD card that I currently have. I could REALLY use a 16GB card ... PLEASE!

I just started a new IT job with my new 9700. ,now I need space for music since I can listen to music at my desk.

I constantly move file on and off my SD card this would save huge time for me!
