BlackBerry 6710 Gets Thrown to the Ground on SNL

To be honest, it's a little tough to distinguish the BlackBerry 6710 from the 6750 or the 7730, 7750 or 7780 for that matter (check out past RIM devices here), but regardless of which device model it is, one unit met its untimely demise in last night's SNL Digital Short when Andy Samberg tossed it to the ground. Check out the video above.... it's good for a laugh. The BlackBerry action kicks in at 1m12s. Big thanks to our resident expert Craig Johnston for spotting this one!

That was pretty damn hilarious when i saw it last night. "My dad isn't a phone" i could do that to my phone some days (but usually not for things the phone has done)

i'm pretty sure that the cake getting thrown was better but it was still funny and sad to see that phone thrown on the ground.

Freakin' hilarious!!! These guys kill me all the time.

I'm not familiar with the song they're making fun of but the main guy singing is apart of a 3 man group that has total refreshed SNL with some hilarious skits. The group is called Lonely Planet and the three guys are Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffe. Freakin' hilarious stuff, you can find stuff on youtube for sure.
