Missing Adobe Flash on 10.3.1? Here's the best way to get it back!

When it was announced BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 would drop Adobe Flash support, some folks were upset but given the fact even Adobe doesn't support Flash on mobile anymore it wasn't entirely unexpected. Still, many folks rely on Adobe Flash and having it built into the native BlackBerry 10 browser was a bonus for those who needed it and since its removal, folks have been looking for the best way to get it back.

Sure, you can load the Android version of Adobe Flash and any Android browser that supports it such as FlashFox or Dolphin but now there's a better way that skips the whole Android process and brings it back while keeping it as a native BlackBerry 10 experience thanks to FileArchiveHaven.

Having 'Blue LED' errors on your BlackBerry 10 device? Here's how to fix it!

Since November, there has been a rather random issue happening to a limited number of BlackBerry smartphones that when the device was manually restarted, all data is removed and it a blue LED is displayed during startup. At the time it started occurring, it was happening on developer builds or otherwise leaked builds of 10.3.1 but there was no resolution for it that worked for everyone.

With 10.3.1 now officially released, BlackBerry has updated their knowledge base to fully address the problem and issue a fix for those who might be experiencing it, which seems to be mostly Z10 and Q10 owners but is available to everyone as it does a hardware check to determine if it's needed for your device.

ShopBlackBerry and Amazon purchased devices now have OS 10.3.1 available

Digging through the CrackBerry Forums there's a lot of questions surrounding whether or not unlocked BlackBerry 10 devices will be able to get the BlackBerry 10.3.1 update directly from BlackBerry. Thankfully, that question was asked directly to BlackBerry Product Manager, Michael Clewley, who noted ShopBlackBerry devices would get the update direct. We followed up with Michael on that to ask about Amazon devices as well and to ensure that the information was indeed correct before posting and now, both ShopBlackBerry and Amazon purchased devices globally will get the update directly.

Fans of BlackBerry OS have been missing something on QWERTY BlackBerry 10 devices. Some would even go so far as to say it's a very crucial and sadly missed feature. If you're a QWERTY device user, you probably already know what I'm referring to without even reading any further. Keyboard shortcuts. They were awesome on BlackBerry OS and allowed BlackBerry users to unleash some truly powerful productivity with very minimal effort. Sadly, they were stripped out of BlackBerry 10 and while some were replaced, they were never recreated at full capacity but instead simply just used for speed dial contacts.

After downloading new release viber stopped to work on my Z10 it lets me download using apk file but when i want t o make calls or send message I can`t because the viber is disconnected it displays a message that says viber disconnected you can`t make calls? any solution please?

Pages

after updating to OS 10.3.1 I've noted 2 things that concern me a lot
1. The ringer volume is too low compared to 10.2 on Blackberry Q10 and
2. earlier on 10.2 to mute an incoming call I just had to touch anywhere on the screen but after the update the ringer mutes only if I touch on the mute button on the screen.

Damn!! i taught this thing OS 10.3.1 was suppose to enhance alot of things for BB10 users, but its shit and a complete mess.
When i updated to OS 10.3.1.2243, the theme on my Z10 is so uncool, i can't play music or video without it breaking, worst of all, i can't even use my Android apps anymore.. and a host of other problems.

pls and pls i'd like to go back to OS 10.2.1, just show me how, and i'll be ok. thank you.

I have the same problem with my Z10 I can't access all my third party apps..After upgrading to 10.3.1.2576 Pls I need help

Updated to 10.3.1.2244 and problems started.
1. My Z3 works very slow, hangs every time I try to use any bb or android app.
2. Rotation Lock problem(Apps and hub can not get back to the portrait mode.
3. Calling screens responds (Updates) very late after dialing a number and receiving any call.
4. The orientation (Design) of calling screen of 10.2 was better than 10.3. (In 10.2 the circle to receive or reject call was at the bottom and moving but not in 10.3.
5. Ringtone and notification sounds are low in volume.

Overall NOT A GOOD UPDATE. NEED LOT OF IMPROVEMENTS.

Voice dialing thru bluetooth is seriously broken.

I used to just say "call Joe Bloe mobile" and it would. With bluetooth on, the only way it works is to break up all the commands. So I have to:

Me: Call

BB: Who would you like to call?

Me: Joe Bloe

BB: Would you like to call Joe Bloe at home (reads number to me) or would you like to call Joe Bloe at work (reads THAT number to me) or would you like to call Joe Bloe on mobile (and reads that number to me ALSO).

Me: Mobile

BB: Would you like to call Joe Bloe on mobile? The mobile number is (reads it to me)

Me: Yes.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Worse, I spent several hours on the phone with bberry tech support, three different techs, who at the end said they understood my problem. It seems like I am having trouble with some applications. I nearly blew a gasket. I explained the problem YET AGAIN and they guy says... oh, so its a bluetooth problem. Are you having trouble with using the bluetooth in the holster? Or the problem with the light sensor?

At which point I hung up.

A fix appears soon or this is my last bberry.

Really unhappy when ever i am trying to update In my Z3. always unsuccessful memory full please move some application or delete but there is no option for move application from device to memory card. So finally deleted all application even then same massage flashing pissed up

Has there been any progress in finding a solution on the issue of after having downloaded the 10.3 OS, the device stays stuck on 98/99% after rebooting I have Z10 STL100-1.

As are many I am sure in this forum, I am a lifelong user and defender of Blackberry phones. The new OS 10.3.1, however, is terrible. When used on a Blackberry Q10, it runs very slowly, and that "activity bar" that is stuck at the bottom of the screen when reading and drafting emails is beyond annoying. I also have not been able to figure out how to put an active phone call on mute without touching the screen, which is inconvenient when multitasking. The ability to mute through the physical button at the top of the phone needs to be restored.

I like the new OS, makes my phone more desirable and all. But the major reason I use this phone is my downloads, with the previous OS, wherever my downloads stopped I could resume whenever however, this 10.3 OS annoyingly restarts every damn download even if I was 99% gone before a pause, PLEASE SOMEONE FIX THAT SHIT, PLEASE! THANK YOU! BLACKBERRY, CRACKBERRY, KINDLY FIX THIS. CAN'T ENJOY MY DAMN PHONE IF MY DOWNLOADS DON'T COME SMOOTHLY. THANKS

After updating to 10.3.1 my sim card doesnt work and I cannot type. I want to go back to OS 10.2.1.
Please help anyone...

I cannot type on my z10 after upgrading to 10.3.1.....please help blackberry or crackberry....
this is gonna be my last blackberry phone

After updating to bb os 10.3.1 my z3 became too slow.it hangs most of the time.
bluetooth stopped working, wifi range decreased, notification ring is low and it receives call after 2-3 rings.not happy at all

I am sick of Blackberry focusing on their newer, sexier hardware and dumping their loyal followers, with older devices on the scrap heap! Big bucks for two Playbooks - dead now. They told everyone Blackberry Bridge would work on OS 10 devices - Blackberry dumped on that promise. The latest OFFICIAL OS update for the Q10 is 10.2.1.3358, while newer devices are on 10.3.1.798.
