Mapper

One more contest before everyone hits happy hour today. BigTinCan Mapper Pro is a cool app that lets you be a part of OSM (Open Street Mapping) by mapping your area and adding points of interest. The app lets you track your route, check out live GPS details and even send the map as an ALX or GPE file to a PC. BigTinCan Mapper Pro obviously isn't for everyone as it targets a specific audience, but if you want to help map the world then you should absolutely check it out. It is a very cool app and a great OSM utility. BigTinCan Mapper Pro sells for $4.99 in the CrackBerry App Store, but you can win one of 50 free copies by leaving a comment on this post. A slimmed down free version is also available. Contest ends this Sunday at Midnight PST. Please only leave one comment, multiple entries won't count.

It seems to be a very good aplicattion, if i win one license i hope to be able to help mapping my country Brazil. Greatings for everyone. Thanks

I love mapping. I have a University degree in Geography and a GIS/Remote Sensing Certificate. Mapping is my life and this app sounds like LOADS of fun!

i don't know what i would do if i were to win, but boy would i like to!!!! haven't found any real "uber-functional" and accurate mapping programs for free, and right now free=college budget safe.... fingers crossed... all i want to do is drive a street in BFE and actually see "BFE street" on the map w/out spending a fortune (or anything) on a corporate pushed app!!!

Just to enter contest :D

No, really, quite usefull app, even if you are not active mapper.

In my city they always opening and closing streets for one reason or another. So it would be useful

As a geocacher, having mapped routes is always a cool way of seeing how you did for the day. As someone who loves to hike and be outdoors, i think this would be a cool app.
