If you managed to grab yourself a copy of BeWeather Pro 10 during BlackBerry's 25 Days Of Gifts or purchased it previously, there's a little bit of an update waiting for you in BlackBerry World. It's just a small update that addresses some bugs within the app and improves overall stability but everyone who has updated it already says that it helps speed up the app, so we figured it was worth mentioning. in any case, go ahead and fire up BlackBerry World, the update should be there ready and waiting.

This is a great app. Thanks for the update.

60.4 MB update. Must be something big inside the package other than just being faster.

It's a great app. Even the native weather app received an update. Both work really well. The satellite images on the go pro is nice.

Be weather pro... my bad

Hopefully it saves the previously downloaded content next time I open the app.

Be Weather is nice, but I am one of the weirdos that actually really like the baked-in Weather App.

imcurved

You are not a weirdo. They are both good.

Well, I'm even more of a weirdo because l actually *prefer* the pre-installed weather app. Even though I took up the offer of a free copy of BeWeather, I do find it somewhat bloated and hence slow vs. the built in AccuWeather one. Lemme do this update on BeWeather and check again.

Still can't delete cities. I've tried a number of times. Maybe next update

Posted via CB10

JoBudden

I've never had a problem deleting. Just long press the city you want to delete it will show u a trash can?

BionicKris

@jdcfinisher- To delete a location you must do it when all your locations are showing in grid or list mode. You then long press on the location you want to delete and that will bring up the options including the garbage can icon. The garbage can icon does not come up with a long press if you are currently viewing that location in full screen view. That might have been the problem. Hope this helps!

I have a Q that someone could probably help me out with. How come the picture is not taking up the whole screen of my Z10? It's only taking up about 30% of the top screen while the rest are black. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

freddysrevng3

Tap on the 30% picture and it will fill the whole screen. Let me know if it works.

stock blackberry app is much better but nice to see an update. I'll give err a shot

Hopefully it can find waterloo, ontario now instead of waterloo quebec... Unless you use location then it can find waterloo ontario

TheAnalogkid

Will we see an update that makes BE Weather a headless app?

Stock app is good. BeWeather is more fully featured. The active frame is something I might leave up all time. Too bad there isn't a way to pin AFs to the active screen.

bgalakazam

Nice. Great little app I bought for full price when I got my BlackBerry and don't regret it.

Just updated. App seems to hang now while trying to connect with BBM. Once I cancel that process the app works fine.
Hmmmm

Connected to BBM almost instantly in my case. Odd.

Sorry but the stock BlackBerry weather app is still way better IMO. Tried this out last night don't care for it.
