For years, I have loved every blackberry that hit the market....my husband and I just had to have them all. But I am so sick and tired of RIM's crap now....so hello to an androind. Here are the reasons I have lost faith in RIM:
1. I am a sprint user....not by choice....its all there is in my area. I am happy with the service...no complaints on sprint's side. My problem is....Sprint is always so late getting BB phones. RIM is now rumored to release the slider phone and its going to who?? AT&T??!! Really? Isn't it enough that they cornered the market on the iphone and had the bold forever before anyone else did? Why does RIM do this to the loyal customers IN ALL CARRIER AREAS?
2. I have had my latest BB for 3 months and the new OS is horrible. When I upgraded, My husband and I began having all kinds of glitches....like the time zones changing constantly, dropping calls every minute....it became hard to have a darned conversation on the phone, much less navigate through my phone.
3. Android has offered up thousands upon thousands of phones, apps, and support. And guess what.....most are FREE!
4. Lastly, Samsung has done this amazing thing for their customers; they release all kinds of phones and updates FOR ALL CARRIERS so EVERYONE can enjoy the gadgets.
I am so pissed that AT&T and Verizon automatically get the first releases and best phones. I am sick of it. Kudos to Samsung and HTC for giving us, LOYAL CUSTOMERS, new and exciting products to use. Apple and RIM can have fun in other markets, but RIM has lost me as a lifelong customer.
If Sprint isn't getting the phones that you want, perhaps you should discuss it with them. I doubt that RIM has much control over that.
And if the "glitches" in OS 5 are a problem for you, then I don't think you will be happy with Android (i.e., BlackBerry is stable in comparison.).
Amen, Ive had it also with rim and their bs. So fed up with the games and trolling
I am forever a loyal customer to blackberry, RIM.... Wen it comes to smartphones I am a forever RIM
