The best accessories for your BlackBerry Q10

BlackBerry Q10 bundle

Have you already run out and bought the BlackBerry Q10 on AT&T or T-Mobile? You need to kit out that bad boy! Luckily, we've got the very best cases and accessories in stock. Here's a sampling of some of my favorites.

BlackBerry Battery Charger Bundle

The BlackBerry Q10 has solid battery life, but you can seriously never have too many spares kicking around. This charger gives you a handy little battery dock with flip cover, integrated USB plug to charge your device externally, and a female USB jack so you can daisy chain and charge both your spare and your device at the same time. It's pretty sweet.

CrackBerry Crunk Case

If you're looking for a slim, stylish soft case that shows off your unabashed adoration of CrackBerry, you'll want the Crunk case. What makes the Crunk case so crunky? Is it pre-predinking on a Friday night, ready to hit the clubs? Or is it already staggering home after a battery of Jagerbombs? You decide!

OtterBox Defender Series

Need more protection? Haaaaaaave you met OtterBox? You will not find better three-layer protection for your phone than what the Defender Series has to offer. An integrated screen protector will keep the display scrtach-free, the rigid inner frame will provide a solid barrier to impact, while the rubber outer layer will disippate initial shocks. Toss a holster on there, and you've got a phone that means business.

Premium Stereo Headset

Believe me when I say that BlackBerry's premium headset is (and I don't use this term lightly) the bee's knees. These are extremely comfortable, secure, and the ribbon wiring is particularly stylish. I've got a pair of $100 Bose headphones that I've been using for a couple of years, and they're pretty good, but these come very close and are a fraction of the cost.   If you plan on using your BlackBerry as a music player and don't have any lightweight, quality headphones kicking around, consider these.

64 GB microSDXC memory card

Though I tend to favor gigantic memory cards for music, this 64 GB card will ensure you never run out of space no matter what you're downloading to your device - videos, high-res photos, big documents, or anything in between. It might seem like a plain, utilitarian accessory, but an important one for media fiends.

Those are just some of the things you can pick up for your shiny new BlackBerry Q10. What are the first accessories you pick up for your new devices?

The best accessories for your BlackBerry Q10

I recently received my extra battery bundle and otterbox case. I seem to have charging issues with bundle. When charging cable is plugged into the battery/bundle and connect to phone it will only charge the extra battery not the one in phone. But when battery/bundle is only connect to phone it will charge phone. Kind of strange. I love the case I was worried that it would encroach on the side keys but it seems to be fine. I would definitely recommend the case if you need to extra protection.

Thanks You Crackberry!

Bought the extra battery kit and tbh, this battery is so great, I have yet to use it.

It'll be handy on trips and vacations though.

Fearmantis- A 64gb memory card works fine in the Z10. I have one I have been using since I got my Z10 in March and I know many of our fellow CB followers do also.

Here's what accessories I use with my Q10:

1) BlackBerry battery charger bundle for Q10.
2) BlackBerry leather flip hard shell case for Q10.
3) BlackBerry ear buds included with Q10.
4) BlackBerry PlayBook.
5) BlackBerry Z10 with Z10 battery charger bundle.
6) BlackBerry PlayBook extra charger as Z10 / Q10 rapid charger.
5) Jawbone Jambox bluetooth stereo speaker.
6) Seagate GoFlex Satelite wireless 500GB HDD.
7) 2013 Kona Blast 26" hardtail mountain bike.

NOTE: there are about 3 more accessories I have yeat to acquire. Hopefully I will get them soon and my dream will be complete. Also plan to have all BlackBerry 10 first devices. Hopefully, all BlackBerry 10 devices.

oh yeah. I use a micro sd card in both my Q10 and Z10. Forgot to mention

fearmantis - I have a 64GB card, no problem. When the card is installed into the phone simply formatting the card will allow the phone to recognize it.

I'm a naked phone guy - love the feel of he Q10 in my hand - no fixed case for me! OTOH, unless the phone is in my hand it's in the offical BlackBerry sleeve. The sleeve/phone slides into my pocket ready for use at any time. Protected and thin - perfect.

Fill up the storage with Madlib and Jay Dilla. Maybe some DJ Premier.

See the guy in the background, behind me on the phone? He's trying to get involved with negotiations between Snake Pliskin and I.

I should add I got the Ballistic Gel Case for the Q10 in all black. I love it, but the Z10 version doesn't look nearly as good. Someone I know has the inseido double case and the material on the ballistic feels much better. So this recommendation is for all you Q10 users out there.

My accessories of choice so far are the BlackBerry soft shell and the BlackBerry leather holster.

I have an eBay screen protector as well.

I took the soft shell off and the size of my phone felt weird after only two weeks with it.

I'm hoping for a car mount too when my budget permits. Still trying to figure out how to get Maps to show the GPS screen all the time while driving (sometimes it doesn't show the step by step for me), but a mount would be nice.

As for the battery charging bundle, the Q10 has a beast of a battery, I go through most days with lots of power to spare. When I stream music to the BlackBerry Music Gateway while using 4G data, I occasionally need to plug in, but for my normal use, it's been fantastic.

No case for my Q10 but always use the BlackBerry Leather Holster. Has power saving mode, really wish the new BB's still had in holster settings...

I think the standard flip shell is totally underrated! I almost never see it mentioned in topics like this one.
In my opinion it is on of the simplest but high-quality covers out there. It functions like a sturdy bumper when closed, and the auto-lock-magnet is something I could never do without on a BlackBerry device. It even has a plastic dot over the LED so you can still see the flashes, and the ports/media keys are always accessible (but still quite discreet when closed, so it looks totally covered).

Does Q10 even support 64 gig cards ? Last time I checked, BB10 can only use cards upto 32 gigs because exFAT isn't supported yet.

Yes, my Q10 recognized the 64GB card I put in it without any problems.

The battery bundle is great. Only problem us the battery life in my Z10 is so good I never need it.

I just received my BlackBerry Music Gateway, hooked it to my AV receiver. Works like a charm. Now I can listen to some of the music on my Z10 that I've been too lazy to transfer to my NAS to listen to.

- Battery pack
- 1.8A premium BlackBerry charger (hella fast charge)
- BlackBerry headphones
- 64GB micro SD

Bought the Seidio Charge Vault but am returning it as it took 4hrs 30mins to charge 0-100%.

Still not decided on case. Contemplating Seidio spring clip belt holster for naked carry, but am a little worried it's not be secure enough, as in it'll fall as I'm dashing across the streets of NYC. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Q10 all the way baby!
