BerrySki

A while back, I posted on an application called BerrySki. This app uses your BlackBerry's GPS to help you view, navigate, track, and record your treks through your favorite ski resorts. In honor of the upcoming Winter Olympics, the folks over at BerrySki are giving away 10 Season Passes for your favorite North American Resort. If you are a skier/snowboarder you should definitely check out this app, its statistical integration alone makes it a great buy. BerrySki is available for all BlackBerrys running OS 4.2 and up, with season passes starting at $7.99.

Contest: We have 10 licenses of BerrySki to give away. Just leave a comment on this post telling us which resort you will use the app for. Contest ends this Sunday at Midnight PST. Please only leave one comment, multiple entries wont count.

nothing like skiing in the back seat of a car...

but Im sure it would be great for when I go boarding at
Vail, Breckenridge, or Keystone

I spend alot of time at Sunshine Village, Banff, Alberta and would love to track my movements.

I ski almost every weekend at different mountains in New England. Some of my favorites include Okemo, Stratton, Sunapee and Mount Snow. For years I have been using a highlighter to map out what trails I hit that day. This app would make my life a lot easier!!

I would love this app to track my trails on Killington and Pico, Vermont! It's always difficult to keep track of your runs as far as number and location, so I would welcome this app with open arms! Thanks!!!! SKI baby SKI!!

I would love this app. My quick/weekend trips would be:

Red River
Angel Fire
Taos

My favorite places are:

Keystone
Aspen
Monarch

I would use it at Snowshoe, WV next month on Spring Break. And probably this month at Perfect North Slopes in IN.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

I just started Skiing this season. I picked it up the first run down the mountain. I got the skiing bug big time! I bought skis and everything.

This would be a sick app to have. I'd love to get it for free!

I will be using this app almost every mountain near NYC and Vermont. Hunter, Camelbak , Windham, Mountain Creek, and Bellayre. In Vermont, Mount Snow, Killington, Pico mountain, and Okemo!!

Would love to have this app!

thanks,

I ski the great top quality hills in the Ottawa area. Top notch "hills" like Camp Fortune, Mont Casscade and Vorlage.

i would use this for blue mountain ski resort in collingwood ontario, i always go with my sister and lose her, this will help me to find her. please give me a copy!!

Living in Aspen this would be an awesome app!

Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, & Vail are my digs.

It would be cool tracking my treks up and down Highlands bowl.

Thanks BerrySki and Crack Berry!

Would love to have a copy of this app, looks great!

I'd be using it at Whistler or Cypress in Vancouver.

We snowboard every week, just got back from Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee, headed to the Canyons in Park City, UT...this app would be dynomite for all the trips I make....can't wait to win a copy!!!!!

This sounds like a great app! Skiing is my true passion and this would be AMAZING to have :)

Whistler Blackcomb
Panorama
Kicking Horse
Mt. Baker
Fernie
Sunshine Village
Lake Louise
Cypress
Grouse

I've got friends that have places near ski resorts but haven't had any "push" to get out there. This would help immensely.

The main place I'd want to go is a place I've never been before:

Breckenridge!

This would be amazing and I would bring my 9630 along and upload all the tracks I record.

What a great idea for an application and judging from the response to your viral campaign, congrats on getting the buzz going.

I will be using you app at:

Alta
Snowbird
Solitude
Park City

Keystone
Vail

I really wish I had it on my last trip. I had to do it the old fashioned way with a pen and trail maps.

Good Luck with the Launch!

Stratton Mountain, VT!!

I'm actually a ski patroller here every weekend and this app would be a great help in terms of recording stuff down for the dispatcher! Thanks!

BerrySki me!

Pretty much any of the resorts out here in the north east.

Hunter
Windham
Camelback
Blue Mountain
Stratton
Killington

When is someone going to develop a tracking program that tells you how many times you have gone to the bathroom, how many were #1 and how many were #2, and let you share it with your friends on facebook, Twitter, etc. Another really useful application, let's see people on the slopes looking at their BB on the way down a doube black diamond, since the GPS won't work in your pocket. Well done gentlemen, a boon to us BB users.

I'm going up to Killington this Spring break. This would be awesome! I usually just stay local in PA but have gone out to CO.

I'd use this for Aspen, Vail and Keystone. If they had Bogus Basin on it from my homestate then I would really be thrilled!

I'm off to ski at Meribel in France in two weeks and this on my BB while at the slopes would be fantastic!!

and I would totally use this app for resorts:

Sunshine Villiage
Nakiska
Lake Louise
Norquay
Panorama (my fav!)
Castle Mountain

If I were to use this on any one resort? My top one would definitely be:
Red Mountain, BC

If I were to choose my Top 5, they would be:
Red Mountain, BC
Mount Washington, BC
Kicking Horse, BC
Whistler-Blackcomb, BC
Mount Baker, WA

Thanks a million for the consideration!

Cheers.

Le Masiff.

even though I don't ski with my trusty blackberry, I'd love to have a sense of security if I go into a new bowl so I don't get lost or get caught in an Avalanch
