BerryPopup has been on the sidelines for the most part while BerryScroll and BerryBuzz got some attention, but has now been updated with some new features to version 1.1. BerryPopup is a popup alert for your emails that displays a preview of emails on your device before actually opening the message. The updates include:

  • Added option to mark all e-mails as read when the popup is closed using the escape key
  • Added swipe detection to go to next/previous message on BB Storm by swiping right/left
  • Now scrolling both address header and message preview
  • Improved phonebook contact matching
  • Web Links/phone numbers in message preview are now clickable
  • E-mails are marked as read when replying/forwarding

I have this & love it, a great app & extremely useful, All BB's should come with this.

The new update with the swipe feature for the Storm is brilliant :)

A definate buy for those who dont have it yet.

I was in the trial version of this. I was debating whether to buy it or not, and just yesterday was thinking it would be nice if it got put on Deal of Day before the end of my trial. I saw this, and said wow, and bought it, plus bought 2 others for my wifes phone and her sisters.

It is nice to be able to read, reply to text/emails while doing other things on the phone without having to back out of the internet to do so.

Anybody debating, get it, well worth it.

I was wondering how well it works for the storm, I tried the trial period before it was compatible with the touchscreen so it sucked, but I cant try it out again. I was jw if it works well and doesn't cause any lag issues.

I bought this app a while ago and I noticed the upgrade fixed a lot of the issues I had with the app. I need to know how to upgrade. If anyone can give me instructions on how to do that I would appreciate it.
