Attention Canadians: Bell Online Sales For BlackBerry Tour Go Live Ahead Of Telus!! Posted in News & Rumors on 10 Jul 2009 15:54 by Bla1ze |

Let the madness in Canada begin, for Bell customers at least. Most were expecting Telus to get out of the gates first in the BlackBerry Tour race but Bell has gotten the early jump on them and have just posted up their purchase options via their website. You can now order your Bell BlackBerry Tour via the site. However, after having called 4 different locations (within Halifax) you as of yet, still cannot pick one up in store. All locations contacted stated the device have been ordered and delivery is expected on Monday. If you hear of any locations with devices on hand and selling them, let us know in the comments or via the CrackBerry tips email because as of now BGR is reporting that sales will be limited as of tomorrow in stores. So, who placed their order? Big thanks to jbezeau for posting this in the forums.

I was going to get the Tour from Telus, but the Onyx is tempting me to wait for a 9030.. so I guess it'll be an Onyx with WiFi and trackpad on a CDMA network?
I work at the WIRELESS etc... in Kingston, ON. Hopefully we should have them on monday. AND we offer a better price then on the website. 198.99 on a 3yr and 100 Costco Cash. Worth the wait then buying online right now. I cant wait to see the real one ^_^. I'm debating on either upgrading my pearl to one of those or a storm (Love watching CSI and NCIS on my BB)
I can't wait for the tour, unfortunately i just switched to at&t, oh well! lets hope the bold is as good as i hear it is!
This is great news for BELL MOBILITY customers who are "chomping at the bit" for a BlackBerry 3G TOUR. As usual Bell usually releases BlackBerrys BEFORE Telus, even if it's just by a few days.

The tours will be in stock at Bell stores tomorrow!
They will not be ready for sale until the following day, but they will certainly be in stock tomorrow.
Yeah, they sort of snuck this one out on the sly. Up until yesterday it was slated to release on July 17th! Sneaky sneaky Bell!

DEFINITELY worth the wait and hype!
Just got ours 20 min ago. A measly 3 phones for this Bell location. Tinkering with it now, it's a solid phone.
We called the Verizon store in South Hills Village by us and they said we could get the Tour on Sunday July 12 in the store. We are going there in the morning to get one for my wife, I am still undecided, I'll play with her's firs.
I take what I said back. My store got them in today.
We received about 10-15 I think. And we got the GO on selling them today if we can/want.
Picked one up today at the Bell World store at the Bayshore Shopping Center in Ottawa, Ontario. Store Managers in the city purportedly got emails this morning notifying them that they would be getting the devices in a special shipment today. Store Manager told me he would call me once they got it; they came in around 3pm. Does not come with an SD card, but comes with a leather holster sleeper. Pics can be found on the 9630 boards.
Picked mine up Saturday in Calgary at the Chinook Center Bell store. From what I can see so far it was worth the wait and lives up to the hype.
