This is for all of you BlackBerry Storm owners out there waiting for Beejive IM to finally hit the Storm. Well, while the completed version may yet be a ways off in the meantime you can grab the latest beta in all it's glory. I have downloaded the Beejive Storm betas before and was never quite impressed, they were always full of bugs that I really just could not understand even why they were not fixed beforehand but this time around the beta is much more polished. I guess that is due to the sheer amount of people that are offering feedback on the application. New additions this time around include:
- file transfers via link, you can now transfer files to buddies on all IM accounts.
- updated push when idle settings, you can now choose an email to use for push notifications.
- clock fixed
- option to use color blind status icons
There are some nice changes there to what is shaping up to be a great application on the Storm as it is on any other BlackBerry device, be sure to check it out and please remember being a beta Beejive needs and wants feedback on any issues that do arise so post them in their support forums if you find any.

I downloaded this version of beejive and its asking me for a license key. Where could i find that?
Hey guys, how come you don't have this in the app store, and also, why does Beejive never go on sale for the Blackberry? The I-phone version is so much cheaper.

It does, just not often. I picked mine up for half price about 2 years ago.
Well, i'm coming to the end of my subscription with the app. I love it, but I'm not paying 30 dollars. And I know there is a 20 dollar version, but I plan on buying the Tour and would have to switch devices.
It certainly beats not having multiple IMs open, but what can I say? I can't swallow 30 dollars when I-phone has it for like 12. And I know that once I buy it it's going to either go lower, or go on sale.

I bought this app for $30 because I had to have Facebook Chat but I think the high price is stopping many others from purchasing the software. The iPhone/iPod touch version is only $9.99 and does virtually the same thing...why are Blackberry users getting beat over the head for this software??
i hope that beejive fix when adding a buddy, we wont have to copy and paste cuz thats hard enough already. also the led light wen we set a certain color it still blinks red. and last hurry up wit the official app for the storm and stop givin us "clouds"
