I've said it before and I'll say it again. BlackBerry is for people who get things done. When you combine that with the smooth keyboard, you get some pretty amazing results. We can all attest to the ability to compose lengthy emails and messages, but to be able to write not only one novel but three is a feat in and of itself. Over the last three years, Jessica Meigs wrote her entire Becoming series on her various devices including her BlackBerry Z10. She also made the decision to name the devastating zombie virus, aka the Michaluk virus, after our own founder Kevin Michaluk.

For this weekend only, you can grab them for the low price of $0.99 each in the Kindle store. This means that you can own all three novels for a total of $2.97. I know I've enjoyed reading them using Amazon's Kindle for BlackBerry 10 application (only supports the Z10) and they are hard to put down once you get started.

If you are anxiously awaiting for news on future endeavors in the ever expanding post-apocalyptic zombie universe be sure to head on over to her website at the link. Here you can ask questions, post comments, and even read upcoming chapters of the latest story in this riveting saga.

Kevin has his own disease... that's great.

I know, right?! I'm so blessed... I've been written up both into a Star Trek book (Ensign Michaluk... the red shirt who lived!) and into a Zombie book as the name of the zombie virus that infects millions. CB fans are the greatest.

This is great, but when I went to download the kindle app it said it was not compatible with my phone. I have a Q10 running10.2 on it, could that be affecting it?

Q10, enough said.

DJ Reyes

At the moment, the Kindle app only supports the Z10, hence why you see incompatible device. I'm hoping the can add Q10/Q5 support soon.

So I ended up getting the Kobo app and will buy it through that instead. Looks like I am a Kobo guy and kindle lost out on a user. But I still get to help Jessica with sales :)

Just bought the trilogy. Only 77p per book in the UK. Woo hoo.

Is there an alternative Kindle App? I don't like the Amazon app since it leaves junk in my photo gallery. It tool a security wipe to clean up.

I'm seeing them for US$2.99 each and not US$0.99 in the Kindle store. Strange...

Robin Lim

If you click the buy button, the US$99 should reflect than.

That should be US$0.99 :)

Only a fool thinks they know me.

Read all 3 over last year or so since they've been released. Really fantastic books, definitely worth buying. !

This sucks if only for the sake that the sale is on Kindle only and my primary book driver is Kobo. :sad panda:

I too prefer Kobo. No sale pricing on the series but I still got book 1 to read on my Z10.

I didn't think you could get it on Kobo, I'm going to check right now.

I just checked on Kobo and they are about $5 CDN per book. Too bad the offer is not storefront agnostic. I'd love to get that deal on the site I use.
