If you played through Bad Land, World of Goo or even Reaper and are now looking for another stunningly beautiful game to try out, you're in luck. Contre Jour is currently on sale in BlackBerry World for only $0.99 from its regular $2.99 and you'd be remiss to miss out on this deal. Contre Jour, which is French for against daylight, aims to blur the lines between games and interactive art and does so quite successfully.

Blurring the lines between games and interactive art, Contre Jour welcomes you to a hauntingly beautiful world shaped by the interplay of light and darkness.   use your finger to morph the landscape, propelling the mysterious creature Petit to safety. Pull, swipe, and tap gadgets such as tendrils, air geysers, and pulleys to complete clever puzzles. Set to a poignant orchestrated soundtrack from composer David Ari Leon, Contre Jour both delights and bedevils from start to finish.

All in all, there is 5 chapters featuring 100 unique levels to play through and 12 different interactive elements to master. The game also features a beautiful soundtrack put together by David Ari Leon , who is best known for writing and supervising music for Marvel Entertainment on titles including Spider-Man and Incredible Hulk. Contre Jour is available for the BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Z30 and finally, the Porsche Design P'9982.

Great game. Worth the money.

Because I've been "saving" so much money on the free 25 days if Xmas I splurged. It looks captivating.

I love this game. Not overly complicated, but beautiful on the eyes and quite challenging at times.

Especially good on the big screen through HDMI.

Wow addictive and cerebral.

Great game! And contre-jour is a method of photography more than something to be translated from French, as far as I know. I've never heard the term used in French for anything else.

Between 99 cent movies and the 25 days of giveaways, I've about filled up my Z10 and SD card. Fortunately this one takes up a comparatively measly 31 MB on the device, I'll give it a try.
