I'm a sucker for a good game that takes place in medieval times and love tower defense, so Medival for the BlackBerry PlayBook is obviously one that pulled me in. This action/arcade title is a simple castle defense game where you use various tools in your arsenal to break down the enemy defenses. Use catapults, archers and more as you defend your castle against the enemy onslaught through various levels.

Features:

  • 4 Game Modes: Easy, Medium, Hard, and FAST FIRE for a finger-tapping frenzy!
  • 3 Different Shooting Modes: Auto Fire, Show Arc, Drag Fire.
  • 6 Different troop types including war machines like Catapults and fast moving cavalry Raiders.
  • Tailor your forces to suit your personal style of warfare
  • 8 Unique weapons such as flaming arrows and powerful multi-shots - each with multiple upgrades available for maximum devastation.

Medieval has been around on other platforms for quite a while and now happily marches on to the BlackBerry PlayBook as well. You can pick it up now in BlackBerry App World for $3.99.

Somebody else will say it if I don't....

$3.99?!?! That's too damn expensive!!! How much is it for iPad, like free or something??? How come BlackBerry owners have to pay so much for everything???? I want to be a cheap a-hole like my other smartphone brethren!!! Whaaaaaa!!!!

There are quite a few apps in AppWorld that are cheaper than the same apps on iTunes.

I know, I was poking fun at those who do whine....

I have well over $100.00 worth of Apps installed on my PlayBook and I like to support the developers.

for the Ipad HD version it's $2.99, for the iphone it's .99

Gosh. I can't believe how much people wine about app prices. I remember back when I was a kid and I got a Sega master system for Christmas. The games for that thing cost like 50 to 60 bucks each back in 1988 and they were no where near as good as playbook games. 3.99 is nothing to pay for a good game. Find something better to do with your time instead of pissing and moaning about a 3.99 game!

How about you read into the sarcasm.
