On stage in NYC at the BlackBerry 10 launch event, we got our first real look at BlackBerry 10 BBM Video Chat with Screenshare. As BlackBerry users know, the addition of BBM Voice came recently and now that service has been expanded to video. In addition to that, you'll also be able to go ahead and share your screen with other. What ever is on your screen, start a BBM Video Chat transition into Screenshare and you're good to go. So awesome and so many use case scenarios. Check out the video above and stay tuned as we'll be bringing you all a further look.

Totally Blown away by BBM Video and screen share! Amazing how far BBM has come since 4.5

Another reason to think there won't be a native Skype app. BlackBerry wants to double down on BBM rather than a 3rd party service. Although I would love to be proven wrong.

Rense

Well, you have been proven wrong.

I'm so loving Blackberry 10!!!!

I love it. They really made it. Happiest man on the world

screen share and video chat is impressive. Cant wait for a big bbm list of people to talk too

dandbj13

I thought video chat was stupid and no one did it. Or does that only apply to Apple?

cbvinh

As something you would use on every call, it is stupid. As something you would use every once and a while, like Skype, it's not stupid.

Hi guys, Can anybody help? I want to know how many emails can be registered on the Blackberry 10? Im hoping Its gon' be more than the usual 10 that the previous Blackberry phone models have provision for.

Dave79

I guess there is no limitation

Is there any word on if this feature will be compatible with either PlayBook video chat or the BBM through blackberry bridge?

after playing around with bbm video yesterday at the launch in london (twitter prize winner) I cannot tell you enough how it is. it looked crazy watching what the other person was doing on their device while you can still hear them!

I am extremely happy with my z10 and you will not be disappointed when you get your hands on it

Rootbrian

I can't wait to use that!

Can somebody please help me out? I don't know how to use video chat on my Q10. There is no video camera button on mine at all when I am in chat. I do have the latest version. Do I need to be on a phone call first before I use video chat, or can I just be in BBM and start a chat?
