Aside from the latest design refresh to the app, there has been plenty of additional services and content being added to BBM as well. The BBM blog has highlighted three separate news announcements of new integrations coming to BBM for multiple regions including South Africa and the Middle East.
- Following on from the launch of our Games channel in December, we are now launching our first content channel for Middle Eastern BBM users: Layalina. The name translates as "our nights," and is a portal primarily for women, offering lifestyle, fashion and celebrity content tailored to Middle Eastern tastes. This is the first of several new BBM content channels we'll be launching in the coming weeks as part of our partnership with entertainment and lifestyle content publisher 7awi.
- BBM users in South Africa can now reduce the amount they pay for their mobile service simply by participating in surveys or shopping at their favourite retailers. The underlying mobile cost reduction technology relies entirely on Billaway's marketing platform, which can be integrated seamlessly into any mobile application, web-based eCommerce site or traditional retailer's marketing strategies.
- 7awi.com a leading digital publisher in the MENA region today announced the launch of its flagship title, Layalina to be available in the Lifestyle section of BBM's Discover menu. 7awi plans to launch ArabsTurbo on the 15th of March 2017 with the remaining titles in the upcoming weeks which includes: Alqiyady, Ra2ej and 3oud.
