BBM beta for BlackBerry 10 and iOS updated in the Beta Zone

Aside from their teasing of something new coming on Twitter, the BBM team has also gone ahead and released two new BBM beta versions into the BlackBerry Beta Zone. Between the two new releases, there's ultimately two new features that have been added overall. We've got the rundown for each release.

  • Edit Messages with the Timed Message and Message Retract Subscription: Users can now retract, edit, and send a new message to replace a message that is accidentally sent. The original message is retracted immediately, and pasted into the input field for quick editing and sending!

Known Issues

  • Contacts not showing exclusive badge on the contacts tab
  • Sent custom PIN invites show up as regular pin
  • Feeds publisher doesn't inform the user when the field is full

iOS

  • Ability to Order Sticker Packs: now you have the ability to customize which Sticker Packs you see in your main Sticker Picker view using the Stickers Settings Menu.
  • Status Publisher on Feeds Tab: reading your friends' updates and want to share your own? Now you can quickly update your status from the Feeds tab directly!
  • Edit Messages with the Timed Message and Message Retract Subscription! Users can now retract, edit, and send a new message to replace a message that is accidentally sent. The original message is retracted immediately, and pasted into the input field for quick editing and sending!
