While BBM for BlackBerry 10 was updated earlier with bug fixes and performance improvements, BlackBerry also decided it was a great time to update BBM for Android as well. Going a bit further than bug fixes and performance improvements, the Android release of BBM has a larger changelog, though, not much larger.
What's new
- Chats now support very long messages!
- Access all Free Stickers in one tap from BBM Discovery Tab.
- More secure Sign In for Users who Signed Up with Phone.
- Bug fixes.
I'm not sure if I ever ran into any issues with long messages before, but clearly, it was enough of a problem for BlackBerry to make add support for even longer chats, so there's that. Bug fixes are always good and adding an even more secure sign in for those using phone numbers to sign up is certainly a good thing. The update is live now on the Google Play Store.
PS: While you're there, grab the Hub+ Services update as well, it's just bug fixes and improvements.
