BatteryPlus updated to version 2.2, 50% off for a limited time
Last month, I reviewed the BatteryPlus application which gives users a more detailed look at their battery life. When I say battery life, I mean not just only the current power, but its recharge/discharge history and temperature. This application will even tell you the estimated standby time and talk time; something that we may take a gamble on with a low battery. It will report on practically anything; just short of its hopes and dreams. You can also set BatteryPlus to activate or deactivate WiFi, LED and an audible alert when the power hits a specific threshold. BatteryPlus makes it easy to boost and monitor your battery life, until you can make your way to a charger. Recently, BatteryPlus was updated to version 2.2 with the following new features and improvements:
- Updated to a much more polished Main Screen
- Added a convenient gear-like button on Main Screen for users to set
options under Boost Option screen
- Added a battery log graphic button on Main Screen for uses to check
battery log view

I've tried upgrading but it just wants to download version 2.1 again!

The web site states that the price is $5.99 and that it is a yearly subscription.

I've got a subscription and an email pointing me towards an upgrade but it's still only version 2.1 that's available.
I'll need a fair bit of convincing to keep the subscription....it's hard to see how it's worth that much per year.
