BASA

If you're s user of BaSA (Battery and System Analyzer) on your BlackBerry 10 smartphone you'll be pleased to hear that version 1.0.0 has now been released into BlackBerry World.

After more than a year in development and ten months of beta testing the developer would like to thank the CrackBerry community for all their help and feedback in the forums.

As a small token of his appreciation he is giving away 1000 copies of his app ClipMan. In order to get this for free you'll need to head on over to BlackBerry World and update BaSA where you'll see a redeem code you can use for ClipMan - sweet!

Using this new parameter you can see and compare your own activity. But this information gives you more information besides your activity during the day. For example; go to the Analyze screen, switch to a weekly view and calculate the activity value on a 24 hour basis. Now you have a Bar graph at which days of the week you're using your BlackBerry the most. Or if the first thing you do in the morning is checking your mails you are now able to peek when you woke up.

Here's the change log for 1.0.0:

  • French translation thanks to Michael H. from France

  • Totally new Parameter "Display and User Activity"

This includes:

  • A new Widget

  • New Details Tab

  • New Settings

  • Infoscreen

  • A new graph for the active frame

  • And a new Parameter at the Analyze Page!

If you haven't already checked out BaSA, now maybe a good time to do so? If you need a reminder you can catch our hands-on video from last year here.
