Bad Piggies rolls onto BlackBerry 10

The smash hit Bad Piggies from Rovio (Angry Birds) has just made its way into BlackBerry World for BlackBerry 10 devices. It's been a long time coming but as I'm a big fan of the game on other platforms, you won't get any complaints from me.

If you've never played it before, Bad Piggies lets you build a flying machine out of all kinds of doo-dads in attempts to knock off the - you guessed it - bad piggies. Construct your vehicle and let it ride. It takes a bit of work at first but once you get the hang of it you'll build all kinds of crazy machines.

Features include:

  • 140 levels crammed with flying/driving/crashing fun!
  • 36 additional levels unlocked by getting three stars!
  • 8 sandbox levels to stretch your creativity!
  • Ultra-special, ultra-secret, ultra-difficult sandbox level to unlock by collecting ten skulls!
  • 36 objects to create the ultimate machine: motors, wings, fans, bottle rockets, umbrellas, balloons, and much more!

Bad Piggies is available for all BlackBerry 10 devices for just $0.99.

I also have an STL100-1 with official 10.1 software. Maybe it's an STL100-1 issue like with Fieldrunners? I did mail Rovio

Also Jack Lumber is released. It is very popular on iOS and also recently released on Android. Good game week ahead :)

Time to spend more money. Just out of curiosity, how much money does blackberry get off of app sales? Like, what is the percentage?

Keep em coming, actually when I got the Z10 I've never thought about angry birds and those things, got it for my kids and became an almost daily player of Rovio games, find them very distractive and fun to play in company of my little kids.

Hooray finally. Been looking forward to this since a friend showed it on his Ipad last year.

For the ones having issues with the game I got an answer from Rovio today:

"Rovio Support Team, Oct 11 04:15 (EDT):
and thanks for contacting us.
Z10 model STL-100-1 has a different graphics processing unit than all the other Z10 models. We are currently investigating this issue and we will try to fix it as soon as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience!
Kind regards,
Rovio Support Team"

So it seems to be with the STL100-1, hope they fix it soon and post the update.
