Mondo Media did it for the iPhone 5 and now they're back with another new video poking a little bit of fun at the iPad mini. Sure Apple sold a ton of them as soon as they went up for preorder but that, perhaps, is what makes the video even funnier. Go ahead and click play, you'll see what I mean. Also, I suggest checking out the Mondo Media site -- a lot of great stuff there outside of the Apple parody videos that they do.

i wonder how many iPad Minis Apple will sell the opaneing day, its really a shame when a 7" tablet comes out and its hardware specs are equal to devices released almost 2 years ago and they sell better then all 7" tablets combined simply because it has an Apple on the back

The iPad mini and the iPhone 5 have only marginal advancements. Apple has reached the end of its innovation as its main innovator Jobs is dead. Apple is currently attempting to build on his work and is failing miserably. Its the beginning of the end for them.

Karma is also a bitch as BB10 will show all the iSheep when it reinvents the smartphone in 2013.

100% Agree, Apple is a cult, and as such even disrespected Jobs when he said they'd never make a 7 in tab. I don't wish failure on any company, but when Apple does eventually crash (and it will) I'm gonna celebrate. Apple is an evil company with horrible business ethics.

The playbook is better in almost every way. With out even using it we all know the experience already of this ipad mini. Same old apple. Open something, then push a button to close it, then open something else. Bland, plain jane mcgrain.

I wonder, as a community, if we have resigned ourselves to taking pot shots on competitor's products and venting out our own frustration through forum posts.
Can we not be positive about the Blackberry platform without being negative on others? Belittling the opponent is the first step towards defeat, for those who have read Sun Tsu.
Does ranting here (shame/kill yourself/dog terd/cult/religion etc) change public opinion, or help us get a better product in early 2013?

Of course we have. It's human nature. The common consensus in the general public is 'whats good for the goose, is good for the gander' and if any company deserves to have pot shots taken at it is Apple. Specially the way they are always belittling Blackberry. But Karma is a bitch, and BB10 will show Apple that with our mighty comeback in 2013.

I doubt it is going to flop. Apple has a clever way of producing much less than what their demand will be. The ones that have to wait for the product to be available speak about it on social networks and etc which creates even more demand and unrequested advertising. The white one already has a 2 week backorder and the 16Gb black one as well. I have my PlayBook since last year. The only thing I said when Apple announced this 7.9" was "lights out". lol, Apple is going to stir the pot once again and dominate in another category. Sad truth for Apple haters.

We can only hope it flops. From what I've seen on YouTube the iPad mini videos are not going viral like the iPad 1,2 and 3's did, but the back orders say different. I think the iPad mini will sell, but no way will it dominate the 7 inch range because it is priced to high. Sure the Apple fanboys are gonna buy them at $329 because you can sell a bag of s*** to them and they will buy it. but all the $200 Playbook, Google, Kindle, and Samsung fans wont buy it when we can get Android for $200, and we are a HUGE part of the market. iPad mini will be a success but not like the others were. Sad thing is iPad mini's flop sales numbers would be Playbooks success.

It won't flop but it is the beginning of the end for apple. Every product up until the iphone 5 appeared to be cutting edge. Then iphone 5 was just an incremental improvement. Ipad mini? No class leading cutting edge specs atall. They aren't winning the experience race anymore either. Its the same old tiring method of going into something, not having many options, then getting out by pressing a PHYSICAL BUTTON and then choosing what's next. The fan base for them continues to be large but I feel a lot of people have gotten sick of the same old soulless system in app,out,in app,out,in app,out. People are looking for the blackberry 10 experience and they don't even know it yet. Its basically like a computer. You open what you want maybe minimize it,open something else, go back, open a third, back to second, etc.

I totally agree on the Playbook being like a computer in its implementation of how apps function. However QNX is very technically different than say, Windows.

QNX is a microkernel OS. In computer science, this type of OS uses the near minimum amount of software that can provide the mechanisms needed to implement an OS. These mechanisms include low level address space management, thread management, and inter process communication.

Traditional operating system like Windows, use device drivers, protocol stacks and file systems. These are removed from the microkernel to run in user space. With QNX, the source code size, (microkernels) tend to be under 10,000 lines of code, as a general rule.

This is why it is so easy to multitask on the Playbook because each app is assigned it's own portion of the memory to work, leaving everything else free. Therefore you can have many applications open at once. QNX is extremely efficient and is going to allow RIM to have some very impressive features on BB10 because of the OS architecture.

As for people wanting the BB10 experience I totally agree 100%. Blackberry/Playbook is a highly efficient, secure, very fluid and user friendly experience, unlike Apple IOS.

iPad has the best GPU and is faster an smoother even better network support and apps done the right way show 100 people an iPad and a Playbook side by side I guarantee 75 or more of those people will choose an iPad.

Yep, and it's also an immoral corrupt company but just because the masses will buy it doesn't mean its better. Better doesn't mean more. Look at great fine dining vs McDonalds. 75% would buy Mcdonalds, not because it is indeed better, but because of the company reputation because of over pumped advertising. Stupidity and ignorance sells.

+1 for Bold and thanks. Agree 100%. Apple allows no self accountability. People who use Apple love to go along for the joy ride with no responsibility for their actions. All actions have reactions, just as you must be morally responsible to achieve justice in this world. Apple has none of these redeeming qualities.

The mini pad will sell very well, because the Apple throng knew in their hearts, that the ipad at 9.7 inches was too big and unwieldy for carrying around without a purse or backpack. The religious apple flock would not buy a non apple product, so forget about the Kindle fire, or Playbook. HOWEVER,, once the head honchos figured that out, and released a 7.9 inch device (still not a 7 inch one, to honor the late Steve's words) the flock had to buy it to be able to actually see the content they could not see on their 3.5 inch phones, or awkwardly deal with on their 9.7 inch devices. (and lets not even go with the flash thing....) my rant for the day.

IPad mini (aka iPad 2.5) and iPad 4 (ak iPad 3.5) are the same thing, just different size, same OS. Nothing is going to change much. I wouldn't buy it. Jailbreak the fucker and use... Ubuntu on it and then, you've got a damn good OS for it. ;)
