In my write up for The Oregon Trail: American Settler, I wondered how soon Gameloft would be bringing more of their gaming titles to BlackBerry 10. Clearly, we didn't have too wait long as Asphalt 7: Heat has now appeared on BlackBerry World and is ready to push your device to its limits. Audis, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins - Oh my.

Hit the speed of heat in the fastest, most visually stunning edition of the Asphalt series. It’s you against the world in 60 of the most amazing cars by prestigious makers like Audi, Lamborghini and Aston Martin. A total of 150 races on tracks across the globe, from Paris to Rio, await you in 6 different game modes with local and online multiplayer for up to 6 racers. Tap into the Asphalt Tracker to find friends to challenge then share your achievements and compare stats, or you can find an opponent using the online matchmaking system.

Right now, you can grab Asphalt 7: Heat for only $1.99 but you'll want to make sure you're attached to some WiFi before grabbing it. The download does roll in at over 1GB, so keep that in mind. Check out the trailer below in case you need help convincing yourself you need this game in your life. PS: The install takes a bit as well, be sure to let it finish completely.

Purchase Asphalt 7: Heat on BlackBerry World

Asphalt 7: Heat now available on BlackBerry World for BlackBerry 10

I purchased it. Just a heads up, this game will take up about a gig of space. That's roughly a dollar per 500MB! Not bad...

I know that Z10 has a 16gb internal flash storage, but I don't think that's enough for all the big games. So how does the Z10 regulate this? Is it allowed to install an app or game fully on the external sd card?

No you cant install onto the sd card. If 1 gig is the biggest a game ever gets then you can still have lots of the top games on the market with 16gigs
Shouldn't have any problems. If you do run out then delete old games. Large apace requirements are almost always meant for media. I could fill 64 gigs of movies in a heartbeat

Its 1.5GB on iOS and counting the Android version couldn't run the game properly due to the inferior Mali 400 GPU and I question Blackberry's Adreno 225 also so lets see if certain scenes or stages left out or the game runs slow or choppy that would be very bad.

Can't leave a review in BBworld ???
I have tried playing the game 4 times. The first hung on loading the map. The other 3 hung on loading the car selection.
I'll try reinstalling it but this isn't what I've come to expect from gameloft

Edit* Forgot to mention that the game asks for permission to access your contacts!! WTF???

I've had the same issues, just hangs whilst loading the map and the first few times the app just crashed out when touching the screen at the start to continue

Needs an update already i think!

I have asphalt 6 on my playbook, i purchased it a week or so thinking that if wouldn't make its way to get Z10...anyone know if the older version will come to the z10? i practically don't touch my playbook since i have BB10 so id rather have it on my phone.

Needs an update. Crashed the first 3 times I tried to load it.

Finally got it working the 4th time and the controls were all messed up. Couldn't steer the car and was very laggy and choppy.

Hopefully gets and update to fix the problems real soon. I was waiting for this game.

For what it's worth, I had the same blank screen issue, but got things working just fine. Since I couldn't swipe up to multitasking view while it was frozen, I initiated voice commands, closed Asphalt, rebooted it, and things worked fine. I also did a factory reset a day or two ago to get rid of a pesky calendar bug, so who knows how much that factored into it.

My husband installed this game on his z10. Can someone tell me how he can exit out of the game without turning off his phone? Thanks
