Another BlackBerry banking app for the UK: This time from The Co-Operative

Yet another banking application has hit App World overnight. This time it is for the Co-Operative bank. Whilst the Co-Op may not be the biggest bank in the UK, it is encouraging to see another application of this sort being supported by BlackBerry. I presume this must be due to the strength of the BlackBerry operating system in the UK.

The app comes with all the usual features of a mobile banking application:

  • Check your account balances
  • Mini statements
  • Setup weekly balance and account limit text alerts
  • Find the nearest Co-operative Bank or Britannia Branch and any Co-operative Bank cash machine
  • Important telephone numbers created for the mobile App

The app supports OS5, BlackBerry 6 & BlackBerry 7 devices.

This is great, surely all these banking apps must signify a positive belief in the strength of the BlackBerry brand.

RIM i hope your are supporting us Brits and are making sure our banking system has great BB10 support.
