"Affordable" Rogers BES Plans Coming October 1st Posted in News & Rumors on 22 Sep 2008 03:53 by Kevin Michaluk |
Following up on our Rogers post last week outlining the details of the upcoming BlackBerry 8320 and Roger's new consumer BIS plans, it looks come October 1st that corporate BlackBerry users on the BES are in for new, affordable rate plans as well. Excluding the $40/7MB plan which remains the same, these new plans are quite a jump up from the existing $45/300MB and $100/1GB options. And just like BIS customers, BES users will now have the Flex Rate plan option available as well. Hat tip to Mike for posting on this too (from a different source). Oh Rogers, it seems with every new price announcement you make I'm having less and less reasons to SMASH. Still not "cheap" data, but Thumbs up anyway!

This is quite the good news. If you check the 1G plan, that is a 50% price cut for its 100$/1Gig plan... Plus The little 200MB added bonus on the 45$ plan is quite nice.
I got hat tip Rogers for doing this. I did not expect this to happen this early.
