BlackBerry Music Gateway

BlackBerry users don't immediately think "music" when firing up their device, but lets face it, most of us want it all in one place so we don't have to carry extra devices. Playing music on your BlackBerry may be annoying at first, but once you get it squared away you can rock out anytime you want with the help of some great accessories. The coolest (and one of my long time favorites) is the BlackBerry Music Gateway. This nifty little accessory lets you stream your music via Bluetooh to external speakers so you can jam almost anywhere. I use it in my house connected to an external speaker, and can carry around my device in my pocket without worrying about having to go to a specific spot in the house to change the track or volume. I've even managed to get it working in my car so I can bring my music on the go.

The BlackBerry Music Gateway just needs a charge from your Mini USB charger. Unfortunately it isn't included with the device, but if you have an older model BlackBerry you should have one laying around. You can always grab one from our store that will get the job done as well.

If you're at all a music listener, you should really explore just what you can do with a BlackBerry to stream your music. If you want to load it up with MP3's just grab an SD card, load it up and you're good to go. If you want to save on space, you can stream right from Pandora or Slacker and tweak each to your liking. No longer do you need to haul around an MP3 player along with your BlackBerry to have your music on the go.

Weekly Accessory Roundup: Stream your music with a BlackBerry Music Gateway - Leave a comment to win one!

I'm curious about this.. I was just thinking a few weeks ago it'd be cool to sync my BB to my playstation or car.

Does it work on the ps3???

This would be perfect since I've been using my Blackberry more and more as my main MP3 player. Why carry and iTOUCH when you are already carrying a blackberry.

This accessory is very nice and again with the RIM BlackBerry CrackBerry leave ahead of the competition.

The accessory is 100% compatible with approximately 98% of the stereos on the market .... enough for both these stereos have auxiliary input.

I've seen in the accessory shop and I can say that the design is fine and very elegant, and of course to turn your Blackberry into a true "trio electrico": D.

Imagine you could turn your MP3s into a home theater or an appliance of 400W sound: D. All this with the portability of a fine and elegant accessory. : D.

For these and other reasons I'm a fan of BlackBerrys and hence the Crackberry, which follow what is best and newest in terms of information about this device and system that I love so much: D.

A big hug and congratulations to all the CrackBerry initiative.

I've been dreaming of one of these for a LOOONG time...I just can't convince the wifey to let me buy it. It'd be great to win it

I use my Bluetooth on my Torch for virtually everything. My car has a system that I stream music to and it downloads my phonebook and reads my texts. I would LOVE to be able to stream my music at home, so please, PLEASE, send me one. Thanks :)

After reading the review I am still not for sure what it does.
But if it is a Bluetooth receiver it would be very useful.
Send it my way so i can figure it out.

Dear CrackBerry,

Thank you in advance for this awesome BlackBerry Music Gateway. I will greatly enjoy it!

Mr. One Random Winner

Music over Bluetooth to my Home Theater? YES PLEASE! This would add a ton to my office and home stereos, yet another think my Blackberry can do...

Sweat streams are made of these, who am I to disagree, I travel the world and the seven seas, everybody's lookin' for something.

PLEASE CRACKBERRY!!! i need to show my friends why blackberry is better than iphone and itunes for music pleasse!!!

This has to be one of the most awesome accessories for the Blackberry, since the earbud socket on almost every Blackberry has issues when you unplug your headphones. (Gets stuck thinking the buds are still in the phone) I would LOVE to win this!

Wow!!! I didn't even know that there was such a device! I have the perfect application. Just need the device. (hint, hint)

Man how this would be great to have! To hook it up to a proper sound system with this baby would rock the house!

Another great way to entertain my wife :) ... or to get back at her when she's cranky by playing her ex's favorite songs hehehehehhehehehhe
