UK football fans - check out Absolute Radio Live Scores for BlackBerry 10

Here's another app for you football fans in the UK. Absolute Radio - Live Scores brings you all you need to know about the matches as they happen and you can listen to the live commentary via the Absolute Radio application.

With both Z10 and Q10 support, the Live Score app offers a bunch of football related info not just on match days but for anytime in the week. You can keep up to date with how all the premiership teams are doing, their statistics and best of all, there is a podcast section so you can listen to Ian Wright and his posse whenever you feel like it.

You can follow each and every game from the Barclays Premier League, League Cup, FA Cup, Champions League and Europa League. Live updates from kick off until full time including live scores, full live text commentary time in match, goal scorers, bookings, dismissals, substitutions, team line-ups, match stats and a live league table.

The application is an Android port, although it doesn't really feel like it. Not that it matters - as long as it works I'm down.

The Absolute Radio - Live Scores app is colorful and user friendly and with it being free to download I'd recommend giving it a shot if football is your thing.

Features include:

  • Get real time push notification updates of scores and results for any match - *I'm not sure if this works on BB10 as the app is an Android port*
  • Full fixtures and results list for the entire 2012/13 football season.
  • Player stats including top goal scorers, assist makers and worst discipline.
  • Listen to Absolute Radio directly in-app on match day.
  • Listen to the Ian Wright on Absolute Radio podcast.
  • Personalise the app with your favorite team.

It's a shame the season's finished. Hopefully by the time it starts up again there will be native apps not ports or sideloads. #MUFC Champ20ns!

Why only the Premier league? There are lots of football fans who support teams outside of the greed league, this is akin to seeing an App available only on ios or android and not BlackBerry.

I agree with Sadsfan that this app is of no interest to me until it includes scores/updates from the lower leagues, or at least the Championship.

Shame it came 2 weeks to late, but the best football app is soccer ticker, every football fan must have this app on your phone

I agree with others that have already said that this app needs to support the lower leagues as well

No Championship, League 1 or 2. Any 'football scores' app which ignores the other leagues isn't worth downloading. I'm sick of the assumption that we all follow Premier teams.

Where the F is sky score centre undoubtedly the best score update app on every platform!!
