Will this be a problem on our phones here in North America since this is for Indonesia and Asian areas (IndoSat?)?
I have my Curve 8900 with original version and I'm not sure if downloading this will be a problem or not.
It should be fine. When I had my Pearl, I was running an OS from Slovenia and everything was in English. I think all (most?)installs have all languages available.
i dont think its worth getting the "official" update, the beta .199 has been working like a charm. is there any difference at all from the beta?
I think making it official just mean that this carrier has decided that this version works well enough for them to support it.
platform version and crypto kernel appear the same as the beta i have loaded
I only see versions for East Asia? Am I not looking in the right place? I clicked the link above.
do i still need to delete the Vendo.xml file for dis one?
SO, i went to upgrade to the official OS after using the beta version for the past few weeks.. and my blackberry downgraded itself to the original OS it came with! And I cant upgrade it, iv been trying everything.. this is so frustrating! Please someone help me!!!
pleasee help!!!!
Except the branding version everything is the same as the Beta...
can anyone tell what the branding version is ? something to do with the career ?
i think i fixed it!! YAY!
What features does the new version have that make it worth upgrading? I have no complaints, really, with the current version.
Good question. I have been hard pressed to find a site that lists versions and their fixes/features. Anyone know of a site?
My buddy at Verizon was telling me yesterday that the official update for .114 will be released during the first week of May... so hold off if you want just dont know how that affects people who use unlocked storms..any insight..?
The backlight on my phone keeps turning itself back on, and drains my battry... anyone else have this issue?
does it work for anyone?
I've been waiting for an official release to finally upgrade my OS. It's here, but so far no big improvments from the stock version. Just finished loading though so hopefully I run into a few nice surprises. Maybe some ringer volume as I keep hearing about the other updates or some well needed battery life.
