Seems RIM is really trying to bring all devices up to the same level these days, maybe it's with the launch of 5.0 or maybe it's simply due to the browser issues that were noted last week that the updates have come out. I really never though I would have to make another 4.5 OS round up post but, here it is folks. 4.5.0.163 From Vodafone UK For:
BlackBerry 8100
BlackBerry 8320 All these OS' are official releases but they may not be for your carrier. If you decide to upgrade to any of them please follow the guides listed below.

I would find that extremely helpful! I always prefer to be on my own carrier's updated OS.
Is the an official OS 5.0 release for the storm model?
There are no official OS 5.0 releases yet. None. They are all leaked betas.
There is also a .169 release available for the 8830. See the 8830 forum for details. It does contain a few bugs.
What about the 8310?? My girl is using one.
.163 for the 8310 is already out there. A little bit of searching should turn it up.

who has the link from sprint, and is there anything changed from the 5.0 is this a downgrade or upgrade i have the 5.0 now on my bb dont want to change if the 5.0 is better 5.0 beta that is

This OS STILL doesn't address the browser certificate handling issue. According to the RIM document it is only resolved in version 4.5.0.173 or later. 4.5.0.161 and .162 have already been around for a while so .163 is an extremely minor update.
Because 4.5.anything is a BIG improvement to 4.2 or 4.3.
It was kinda pointless to do a 4.5 "Roundup" and only post links for a few phones that have been offered this update. Not much of a roundup.
Yes, 4.5 is a big improvement to 4.2 or 4.3 but 4.5.0.161 has been available for the 8800 since July with earlier versions of 4.5 being released even before that. It has been available for the 81xx and 83xx series for a long time as well.
It was pointless to do a roundup when so few devices were updated and this update doesn't address the security flaw either.
