During Kevin's once over of the BlackBerry Torch 9860 at BB7 Fan Night last week, we caught a quick glimpse of a sweet game called 3D Rollercoaster Rush Jurassic 2. The game looked awesome and we can wait to check it out for ourselves. A tipster was kind enough to send in a quick video of the game running on the BlackBerry Bold 9900 so we could get another look and drool a bit more. There's not much too it, but if you're looking for a tease and yet another reason to pick up a new BlackBerry when they become available, this just might do the trick!

thats sweeet! A taste of things to come...

clvrbas

It would be nice to have a better game selection for when we travel

Masahiro

Uum... I think there's something wrong with the camera.

Tariq.H

is it just me or is the game a little choppy?

Tariq.H

or probably the camera taking this?

Bla1ze

Haha! No, just the video.. the same shaking happens when the video is at the end.

Masahiro

It's the whole video. Haha. The hand and phone is twitching like mad. The game actually runs very smoothly when you watch other videos with it being demoed.

Tariq.H

ahhh haha great, cuz the 9900 is the phone I plan to get when its out :D

Oh blackberry - these have been available on the Iphone for the past many years. Welcome to the club......finally. Sorry everyone, I couldn't resist.

In any event, I am very happy to see some "real" games coming out that actually look graphically pleasing to the eye. Of course, I'd be much more happier to see these type of games come out for the Playbook! Now that would simply be sweet.

better late than never, hopefully things pick up for RIM soon

speaking of cameras (photo, video and flash)...are the 9900, 9860, 9810 all built "equally"?

cellinator

I know there is no autofocus on some new models. That's a disappointment.

Whats the point of this game? It looks cool, but do you really control much?

JenFromMars

"Video not available in your country..." That's it..I'm moving!! ;)

My question is, will this be an "actual" app, or is this just a demo like the fantasy football demo for playbook?

Dammerung2010

I'm confident this is an actual app. The same app is available for iOS.

shizzlestick

While it run just as good on the Torch 2?

androidsux

A game this good for blackberry will be $50.

schmittdog

I'm sorry. The song pissed me off. At least use the RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS!

@Kevin from Crackberry:
Can you pls do a review that compares blackberry Bold 9900 to Iphone 4. Yes thats what I want.
-Start with notifications
--Next to Volume and clarity
-Next to do the calendar
-Next do notes
-Next do video camera quality
-BBM vs IMESSAGE

Get some substance out here!

birdman_36

It's not up to CrackBerry to help you decide between an iPhone 4 and a BlackBerry 9900.

Also iMessage was compared with BBM a couple months ago:

Dammerung2010

This is exactly the kind of demo I've been waiting for! It's so nice to see a game with 3D hardware acceleration on a Blackberry (other than the CDMA ones). <3

birdman_36

This game will look great on the Torch Touch.

I'm sorry, but this video does not show off the device very well. It gives me a headache more than anything. Any chance of updating it and having someone else record the video who doesn't have Parkinson's?
